New-onset diabetes in COVID-19 and clinical outcomes: A systematic review and meta-analysis.

Background: Diabetes mellitus (DM) is associated with adverse clinical outcomes and high mortality in patients with coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). The relationship between diabetes and COVID-19 is known to be bidirectional.

Aim: To analyze the rate of new-onset diabetes in COVID-19 patients and compare the clinical outcomes of new-onset diabetes, pre-existing diabetes, hyperglycemic, and non-diabetes among COVID-19 patients.

Prevalence, awareness, risk factors and control of hypertension in Nepal from 2000 to 2020: A systematic review and meta-analysis.

Objective: To analyse published literatures on prevalence, awareness, risk factors and control of hypertension in Nepal.

Methods: We used electronic databases to search relevant articles from January 2000 till October 2020. All relevant data from selected studies were extracted into a standardized form designed in Excel.

A Case of Isolated Dysarthria in a COVID-19 Infected Stroke Patient: A Nondisabling Neurological Symptom With Grave Prognosis.

Isolated dysarthria is a speech abnormality characterized by slurring without any language dysfunction, or other neurological deficits. In an acute setting, it is commonly associated with stroke. In the context of social distancing during the current corona virus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic, nondisabling symptoms such as isolated dysarthria can delay a patient's perception to seek immediate medical care.
