In this study, a new heterogeneous catalyst was synthesized based on graphene oxide (GO) as a natural material. On the surface of nanosheet graphene oxide, 2-Morpholinoethanamine was immobilized using a non-toxic, green, and simple method. This resulted in the preparation of a bifunctional acid-base nanocatalyst.

The modified carbon paste electrode showed high electrocatalytic activity toward ascorbic acid; the current was enhanced significantly relative to the situation prevailing when an unmodified carbon paste electrode was used. Cyclic voltammetry was used to investigate the redox properties of this modified electrode at various solution pH values and at various scan rates.

The in vitro antiproliferative activity evaluation of title compounds using MTT assay revealed that most compounds showed significant activity against tested cancer cell lines (A549, MOLT-4, and HeLa). The 2-fluoro-aniline derivatives 6e and 6l were the most active compounds against A549 and MOLT-4 cells, respectively.

The target compounds 3a-u were synthesized by condensation of oxindole and pyridin-4-carbalehyde, and subsequent N-benzylation. The anti-cholinesterase activity evaluation of synthesized compounds revealed that most of them had very potent inhibitory activity against AChE, superior to standard drug donepezil.

CV was used to investigate the redox properties of the modified electrode at various scan rates and the apparent charge transfer rate constant (k(s)), and transfer coefficient (α) were calculated. The mediated oxidation of DA at the modified electrode under the optimum condition (pH = 7.

A new electrochemical sensor for the determination of norepinephrine (NE), acetaminophen (AC) and tryptophan (Trp) is described. The sensor is based on carbon paste electrode (CPE) modified with 3,4-dihydroxybenzaldehyde-2,4-dinitrophenylhydrazone (DDP) and takes the advantages of carbon nanotubes (CNTs), which makes the modified electrode highly sensitive for the electrochemical detection of these compounds. Cyclic voltammetry (CV) at various scan rates was used to investigate the redox properties of the modified electrode.
