Lithium-sulfur (Li-S) batteries hold immense promise as next-generation energy storage due to their high theoretical energy density (2600 Wh kg⁻¹), low cost, and non-toxic nature. A hologram reconstruction algorithm is proposed based on the fractional Fourier transform (FRFT) in non-telecentric digital holographic microscopy. The optimal fractional order representing the recorded hologram is estimated based on an evaluation metric. A novel sustainable methodology based on one-pot cyanoalkylation/cyanoalkenylation of 2-anilino-1,4-naphthoquinones with vinylarenes/arylalkynes and azobis(alkylcarbonitrile)s involving a three-component radical cascade pathway has been achieved. Here, -butylhydroperoxide (TBHP) acts as an efficient oxidant, and it smoothly drives the reaction, producing the three-component products in very good to excellent yields. This cascade reaction eliminates the use of any base, additive, metal and hazardous cyanating agent.

Nagaon is one of the highly flood-prone districts of Assam, India that recurrently experiences devastating floods resulting in the loss of lives and property and wreaking havoc on the district's socioeconomic infrastructure. Identification and mapping of spatial patterns of flood hazards, flood vulnerability, and flood risk zones (FRZs) of the district are, therefore, crucial for flood management and mitigation. For operational flood control and estimating ecological flow regimes in deltaic branched-river systems with limited surveyed cross-sections, accurate river stage and discharge estimation using public domain Digital Elevation Model (DEM)-extracted cross-sections are challenging. To estimate the spatiotemporal variability of streamflow and river stage in a deltaic river system using a hydrodynamic model, this study demonstrates a novel copula-based framework to obtain reliable river cross-sections from SRTM (Shuttle Radar Topographic Mission) and ASTER (Advanced Spaceborne Thermal Emission and Reflection) DEMs. Firstly, the accuracy of the CSRTM and CASTER models was assessed against the surveyed river cross-sections.
