Atopic dermatitis is a skin condition characterized by lichenification (thickening and increased skin marking), eczematous lesions, dry skin, itching, and pruritus. Eugenol is an aromatic polyphenolic compound that has attracted the attention of researchers due to its anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant, and anti-cancer properties. The primary goal of the present study was to develop and evaluate eugenol-loaded transethosomes for the treatment of AD.
