Dysplastic changes secondary to cytomegalovirus-induced Lipschutz ulcer: Unraveling complexity.

Lipschutz ulcer is a rare nonvenereal condition affecting predominantly young females who are not sexually exposed and can be triggered by various infectious agents, trauma, and drugs. It presents with single or multiple painful ulcers over labia minora, labia majora, vestibule, and lower part of the vagina and may be preceded by prodromal symptoms akin to influenza or mononucleosis. Diagnosis is based on specific criteria, which include age, ulcer characteristics, and absence of immunodeficiency.

Plica Neuropathica in Infancy.

Plica neuropathica is an acquired hair disorder characterized by matted hair locks. We report a case of plica neuropathica in infancy, where due to repeated washing of hair without combing led to matted hair nest on the scalp. We report this case due to its rare occurrence.

Background: Periorbital hyperpigmentation (POH) is a very common, yet unexplored aesthetic condition. Topical therapy is mainstay of treatment which includes chemical peels and other depigmenting agents.

Aims: To compare clinical efficacy, safety, and tolerability of 20% glycolic acid peels, 15% lactic acid peels, and 12% ferulic acid peels in the treatment of constitutional type of periorbital hyperpigmentation in Indian patients.

Lipedematous Scalp with Varied Presentations: A Case Series of Four Patients.

Lipedematous scalp (LS) is a rare cutaneous disorder of unknown etiology, characterized by significant thickening of subcutaneous tissue which results in a thick, boggy, scalp swelling. To the best of our knowledge, less than 50 cases are reported till date. Hereby, we present a total of four cases of LS, that is, two cases of LS and two cases of unusual associations of LS with alopecia areata and intradermal nevus.
