Background: Dyslexia is a disorder characterized by difficulty in reading such as poor speech and sound recognition. They have less capability to relate letters and form words and exhibit poor reading comprehension. Eye-tracking methodologies play a major role in analyzing human cognitive processing.

Bioethanol production from macroalgae entails breaking this complex chain into simple glucose molecule, which has been the major challenge faced by the industries. Cellulases have been preferred for hydrolysis of cellulose due to the absence of inhibitors affecting the subsequent fermentation process.

The main objective of present study was to screen the bacteria for potential probiotic characters and enzyme production. The probiotic characters like tolerance to low pH, bile salts, antibiotic sensitivity, hydrophobicity and auto-aggregation properties were evaluated.

Kinetics of lipase catalyzed transesterification of ethyl caprate and butyric acid was investigated. The objective of this work was to propose a reaction mechanism and develop a rate equation for the synthesis of ethyl butyrate by transesterification using surfactant coated lipase from . The reaction rate could be described in terms of Michaelis-Menten equation with a Ping-Pong Bi-Bi mechanism and competitive inhibition by both the substrates.

The ANT manifests as anomaly in the thermal behaviour of the dielectric permittivity. Data from X-ray studies suggest that ANT is caused by the ability of the gel fibres to compete with the substrate-driven orientation conditions.

For certain concentrations, the calorimetric scans display a two-peak profile across the chiral nematic-isotropic (N*-I) transition, a feature reminiscent of the random-dilution to random-field crossover observed in liquid crystal gels formed with aerosil particles. All samples show shear thinning behavior without a Newtonian plateau region at lower shear rates.

Alignment of the ITS2 sequence from the 7 species revealed 8 homologous domains.

GST from Wb (Wuchereria bancrofti) and Bm (Brugia malayi) are significantly different from human GST in sequence and structure. Thus, Wb-GST and Bm-GST are potential chemotherapeutic targets for anti-filarial treatment.

Four loops (L1, L2, L3 and L4), which show maximum structural deviations irrespective of type of inhibitor, have been identified. Comparison of the crystal structures of ligand complexes reveal that residues belonging to these loops have negligible coulomb and VDW interactions with the inhibitor but play major role in determining the openness of the binding cavity.
