This randomized trial evaluated the relative vaccine effectiveness (VE) and immunogenicity of RIV versus SD IIV in frontline workers and students aged 18-64 years.
Methods: Participants were randomized to receive RIV or SD IIV and followed for reverse-transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR)-confirmed influenza during the 2022-2023 influenza season.
This study aimed to quantify the permeation of metformin (Met) lotion through pig ear skin using high-performance liquid chromatography, specifically hydrophilic interaction liquid chromatography (HILIC), to separate Met from biological contaminants and effectively measure its permeation through skin similar to human skin. A Franz cell permeation assay was used to assess the permeation kinetics of 6% Met lotion through pig ear skin. We show that the high-order IGB propagates in a quasi-nondiffractive manner within the same conical region as any nondiffractive beam, even when their profiles do not match exactly. Our results indicate new, to our knowledge, methods to generate a quasi-nondiffractive MB from spherical resonators and provide more efficient ways to generate them in the Fourier space.

This study investigates the OER performance of hierarchically porous cobalt electrocatalysts synthesized using the dynamic hydrogen bubble templating (DHBT) method. Characterization studies revealed that electrocatalysts synthesized under optimized conditions using the DHBT method consisted of cobalt nanosheets, and hierarchical porosity with macropores distributed in a honeycomb network and mesopores distributed between cobalt nanosheets.
