  • Fibro osseous lesions in the craniofacial skeleton involve the replacement of bone with fibrous tissue, and Juvenile Ossifying Fibromas (JOF) are an aggressive form that can resemble cancers.
  • JOFs are classified into two types: Psammomatoid, which has spherical bone structures, and Trabecular, characterized by woven bone, and accurate diagnosis is crucial due to their rarity and potential malignancy mimicry.
  • Early diagnosis and complete surgical removal are essential for a better prognosis, and this paper highlights a case of Juvenile Psammomatoid Ossifying Fibroma in the orbit to encourage considering JOF in diagnosing craniofacial lesions.
