Background: No available studies demonstrate validity and meaningful change thresholds of Work Productivity and Activity Impairment (WPAI) questionnaire in patients with migraine. In this post-hoc analysis, we assessed reliability, validity, responsiveness, and meaningful within-patient change from baseline to Month 3 for Work Productivity and Activity Impairment (WPAI) domain scores in patients with episodic migraine (EM) or chronic migraine (CM).
Method: The Phase 3, multicenter, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled CONQUER study (NCT03559257, N = 462) enrolled patients with EM or CM who failed two to four categories of prior preventive medication in past ten years.
Modern intravenous iron compounds (e.g., ferric carboxymaltose [FCM] and ferric derisomaltose [FDI]) are utilized in the treatment of iron deficiency anemia in non-dialysis-dependent chronic kidney disease (ND-CKD).

We report the baseline quality of life measures in participants from the PIVOTAL randomized controlled trial and the potential relationship with the primary outcome (all-cause mortality, myocardial infarction, stroke, and heart failure hospitalisation), and associations with key baseline characteristics.
Methods: This was a post hoc analysis of 2141 patients enrolled in the PIVOTAL trial.
Laparoscopic cholecystectomy is commonly performed procedure for gallbladder diseases. Biliovascular injuries are well known complications and various standard and safe strategies have been developed for safe cholecystectomy. Intraoperative time out is one of the strategies where two or more surgeons stop during surgery before dividing any structure in Calot's triangle.

Purpose: The purpose of the study was to analyze the demographics, visual acuity (VA), etiologies, recommended low vision assistive products (LVAP), and the acceptance rates of LVAP in various age groups.
Methods: This was a long-term retrospective review of all the patients presenting to the low vision clinic of our tertiary eye care hospital from January 2011 to December 2016. Data obtained included age, gender, VA, visual fields, ocular pathology causing the low vision, and types of LVAP advised.
DNA ligase I (LigI), the predominant enzyme that joins Okazaki fragments, interacts with PCNA and Pol δ. LigI also interacts with UHRF1, linking Okazaki fragment joining with DNA maintenance methylation. Okazaki fragments can also be joined by a relatively poorly characterized DNA ligase IIIα (LigIIIα)-dependent backup pathway.

Here we report ambient semi-transparent PSCs with novel graphitic carbon/NiO-based hole transporting electrodes having variable thicknesses achieving a highest efficiency of ∼14%. On the other hand, the altered thickness produced the highest average visible transparency (AVT) of the devices, nearly 35%, which also influenced other glazing-related parameters.

Methods: Data from the Medical Expenditure Panel Survey (2016-2017) with US adults aged 18 years and older was used. The physical component score (PCS) and mental component score (MCS) of Quality of Life, served as the outcome measures.
Locally prepared liquor, which is not standardized or regulated, though cheap can contain various toxic ingredients and even may be fatal. We report a case series of four adult males who died within 18.5 h due to the effect of local liquor consumption in a hilly district of Gandaki Province of Nepal.

The area of reinforcement in composites is also rapidly evolving with many new discoveries, including the use of hybrid fibers, sustainable materials, and nanocellulose. In this review, studies on hybrid fiber reinforcement, the use of nanocellulose, the use of nanocellulose in hybrid forms, the use of nanocellulose with other nanomaterials, the applications of these materials, and finally, the challenges and opportunities (including safety issues) of their use are thoroughly discussed.

A structured DP plays a crucial role in ensuring continuing home care and avoiding readmissions. DP should help patients in self-care and provide appropriate guidance to maintain optimal glycaemic control.

We generated peroxin 5 homozygous mutant zebrafish (pex5) to gain insight into the molecular pathogenesis of peroxisome dysfunction. pex5 display hallmarks of ZSD in humans and die within one month after birth.

The development of the coronavirus disease (COVID) vaccine was a significant breakthrough in ways to tackle the virus. Various research studies have been conducted to identify how the virus works and ways to manage COVID, including the efficacy of the vaccines.

Background: Interest in training in nephrology is declining around the world. This is a particularly worrisome issue for future nephrology practice with the aging population and the increasing number of patients with kidney disease. We wished to understand the perception and measure the satisfaction of Iraqi medical interns regarding nephrology and explore factors affecting career decisions towards becoming a specialist nephrologist.

Traumatic dental injuries otherwise referred to as dental trauma is common in dental practice. The etiology of dental trauma is mostly falls and accidents in case of children and young adults. The treatment provided should be quick and effective which depends on the extent of the dental trauma, the injury might expose enamel, dentine and pulp of the affected teeth.

Methods: Prospective treatment records were maintained in head and neck cancer patients, who received POC following a standardized protocol with definite timelines. Data collected for oral treatment time (OTT), interruption in RT due to oro-dental issues, future extraction(s), and incidence of osteoradionecrosis (ORN) up to 18 months after treatment were analyzed.
Stiff Person Syndrome (SPS), a progressive Central Nervous System disorder is accompanied by progressive muscle rigidity, hyperreflexia, and spasms mainly in truncal and proximal leg muscles mainly associated with autoimmune disorders. Here, we report a rare case of SPS in a middle-aged Nepalese man with uncontrolled diabetes mellitus and ketonuria.

The focus of this study was to evaluate changes in the resonant frequency of a wearable electromagnetic resonant skin patch sensor during simulated physiological changes observed in aerospace applications. Simulated microgravity was induced in eight healthy human participants (n = 8), and the implementation of lower body negative pressure (LBNP) countermeasures was induced in four healthy human participants (n = 4).

The surface chloride of HPNCs coupled with the Ca-metal center of the CaQ complex without altering the morphology, size, and dopant oxidation state of the HPNCs and provided additional environmental stability of the WLE nanocomposite. The photostable solid WLE nanocomposite displays chromaticity of (0.
