Neuropsychiatric systemic lupus erythematosus (NPSLE) exhibits neurological and psychiatric manifestations in systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) patients, which NPSLE diagnosis can be challenging for rheumatologists. An Indonesian female, 44 years old, complained of two times seizures with 10-min duration, which during seizures were stiff, eyes rolled up, foaming at the mouth, wet the bed, and fainting afterward. The patient also has a history of SLE and received cyclophosphamide therapy 5 years ago.

Objective: Analyzing the effectiveness of CPT in modulating immune responses based on SARS-COV-2 anti-spike protein receptor-binding domain (s-RBD) IgG, inflammatory cytokines (IL-6 and IL-4), and mortality in severe-critical COVID-19 patients.
Methods: This study was an observational analytical with a prospective cohort design.
Unlabelled: Studies evaluating the levels of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) anti-spike protein receptor-binding domain (S-RBD) immunoglobulin G (IgG) antibodies in vaccinated healthcare workers in Indonesia are limited.
Objectives: Evaluating time-dependent levels of anti-IgG S-RBD antibodies and monitoring the response of healthcare workers in a tertiary hospital in Indonesia after vaccination.
Materials And Methods: This prospective cohort observational study was conducted from January to December 2021.
Introduction: Repeated transfusions in thalassemia patients can cause several complications, including alloimmunization and autoimmunization.
Purpose: This study compares the immune response of T follicular helper (Tfh) lymphocytes expressing T-cell immunoreceptor with immunoglobulin and immunoreceptor tyrosine-based inhibitory domains (TIGIT), programmed cell death-1 (PD-1), and interleukin-21 (IL-21) between patients with allo-auto positive and negative thalassemia before and after hemin administration.
Materials And Methods: This study used a quasi-experimental pre- and post-test design and was performed between April and November 2021 at the Dr.
Introduction: Antibody formation in transfusion-dependent thalassemia is associated with chronic hemolysis and repeated transfusions. Hemolysis produces heme, which mediates B-cell differentiation into plasma cells and produces antibodies influenced by interleukin-21 (IL-21).
Objective: This study aimed to compare IL-21 levels, plasma cell percentage, and red blood cell antibodies between positive and negative allo-autoantibody thalassemia before and after hemin administration.
Background: Convalescent plasma administration in severe and critically-ill COVID-19 patients have been proven to not provide improvement in patients' outcome, yet it is still widely used in countries with limited resources due to its high availability and safety. This study aims to investigate its effects on ICU mortality, ICU length of stay (LoS), and improvement of oxygen support requirements.
Methods: Data of all severe and critically-ill patients in our COVID-19 ICU was collected retrospectively between May and November 2020.
Background: COVID-19 pandemic causes severe acute respiratory syndrome and requires rapid action. The development of effective safe vaccines become a global priority for achieving herd immunity. Vaccination is expected to form specific antibodies against the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein which can neutralize the virus, preventing the virus from binding with ACE 2 receptors.

Immune response through CD4 and CD8 T cells is needed to produce Interferon gamma (IFN-γ), a cytokine eliminate . We aimed to compare the cellular immune response based on the percentage of CD4 and CD8 T cells expressing interferon gamma in active pulmonary tuberculosis patients before and after 2 months of tuberculosis treatment.
