Objectives: to describe the organizational climate perceived by nurses of a hospital linked to the Brazilian Hospital Services Company and the reasons for the turnover intention.
Methods: mixed, concomitant triangulation type. Qualitative data were analyzed according to the discourse of the collective subject, in addition to quantitative data analysis, descriptive analysis, Pearson correlation, and multiple linear regression.

Method: An observational and cross-sectional study. Socio-demographic, economic, behavioral and reproductive health instruments were used, along with the Self-Reporting Questionnaire (SRQ-20) to identify common mental disorders.

It was a descriptive study, with a qualitative approach, using the method of thematic analysis.

The study analyzes the involvement of professionals in their work and the reorganization of health services from their perspective, considering the participatory management recommended by the Unified National Health System (SUS).
