"Yes, I can bond." Reflections of autistic women's mothering experiences in the early postpartum period.

Background: Autism is a neurodevelopmental condition affecting communication and social interaction. Much of the research regarding childbirth and motherhood is focused on non-autistic women. Autistic mothers may experience challenges communicating their needs to health care professionals and find aspects of the hospital environment distressing, indicating a need for more informed practice.

Capacity building in nurse educators in a Global Leadership Mentoring Community.

Globally, nurse educators participate in the three main role activities of teaching, scholarship, and service. Matching for different global locations and career stages, 12 mentor-mentee pairs completed a one-year coordinated virtual program through Sigma Theta Tau International's Global Leadership Mentoring Community and mentees reported building their nurse educator capacities. The authors describe factors that potentially influence international mentoring such as language, time, technology, and key characteristics of mentoring relationships.

Culture Care Beliefs and Practices of Ethiopian Immigrants.

Introduction: The purposes of this mini study were to identify and describe the culture care beliefs and practices of Ethiopian immigrants in the mid-Atlantic region of the United States and to advance the science of transcultural nursing.

Methodology: Leininger's theory of culture care diversity and universality guided the research and was the framework for the design of this qualitative ethnonursing mini study. Data were collected from 15 participants through in-depth interviews.
