Objective: To assess safety of fertility treatments in women with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE).
Design: Data from the multicentre French observational GR2 (Groupe de Recherche sur la Grossesse et les Maladies Rares) study (2014-ongoing).
Setting: Seventy-six centres in France.
Introduction: Diagnosis of frontotemporal dementia (FTD) remains difficult even in the presence of core clinical and imaging features. Furthermore, disease-modifying treatments are lacking.
Case Presentation: Here, we report a case of a patient with clinical and imaging features of FTD.
Background: Numerous studies have shown a high incidence and increase in stress-related symptoms and depression-like complaints among students. During teaching on mental disorders at our medical faculty, students repeatedly reported emotionally stressful situations and expressed a desire for support services. The aim of the present study was to objectify the level of stress and the need for such support services.

Clinical practice guidelines suggest the use of high-flow nasal oxygen rather than standard oxygen. However, findings remain contradictory with a low level of certainty.

Traditional conservative treatments, with the historical practice of early posterior fusion, have proven ineffective. Recently, growth-sparing techniques have gained traction owing to their ability to maximize trunk height.

For patients with severe and treatment-resistant psychotic disorders, electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) is a potentially effective treatment. Data regarding the use of ECT in forensic psychiatry are scarce.

International guidelines are available to help identify those individuals who require specialized care. However, in our country, there is a limited emphasis on primary healthcare, with the primary focus on hospital-based care.

Relevant courses during undergraduate medical education are heterogeneous and not widely established within the curricula. At our university, we investigated if students' knowledge of transgender identity could be increased through medical specialist teaching and teaching delivered by representatives of the trans* community (community-supported teaching).

Objectives: Cannabis use is cautioned against during pregnancy, yet many pregnant people continue to use. This study aimed to evaluate the patterns and reasons for cannabis use before and after conception in pregnant people who screened positive for cannabis use at initiation of prenatal care.
Methods: Pregnant patients at 1 prenatal practice in Baltimore, MD, who either self-reported cannabis use or tested positive on urine toxicology were approached for enrollment.
There is a strong medical need to develop suitable biomarkers to improve the diagnosis and treatment of depression, particularly in predicting response to certain therapeutic approaches such as electroconvulsive therapy (ECT). MicroRNAs are small non-coding RNAs that have the ability to influence the transcriptome as well as proteostasis at the systems level. Here, we investigate the role of circulating microRNAs in depression and response prediction towards ECT.

Electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) is an effective, safe, and mostly well-tolerated treatment for patients with severe or difficult to treat depression or psychotic disorders. However, a relevant number of patients experience subjective and/or objective cognitive side-effects. The mechanism of these transient deficits is not yet clear.

We describe a patient with a GCA revealed with a year-long biological inflammation and weight loss. Diagnosis was performed on a systematic temporal artery biopsy showing typical histological features.

This study looks to (1) compare the skeletons from male "archer" burials with those from male "non-archer" burials-those not having archery-related grave goods-in order to assess a possible link between burial context and physical activity, and (2) apply a biomechanics profile to evaluate whether the individuals associated with these "archer" burials practiced specialized archer activity.
Materials And Methods: The corpus (males only) included 46 "archers" and 40 "non-archers" from Bell Beaker individual inhumations.
Objective: Data on obstetric outcomes in patients with a history of immunoglobulin A vasculitis (IgA-V) are lacking. The aim of this study was to assess maternal, neonatal, and vasculitis outcomes during pregnancy.
Method: We conducted a French retrospective case-control study.
Interfaces of phase-separated systems roughen in time due to capillary waves. Because of fluxes in the bulk, their dynamics is nonlocal in real space and is not described by the Edwards-Wilkinson or Kardar-Parisi-Zhang (KPZ) equations, nor their conserved counterparts. We show that, in the absence of detailed balance, the phase-separated interface is described by a new universality class that we term |q|KPZ.

The jar votive offerings and domestic pottery from settlement sites were characterized using a range of spectroscopic and microscopic techniques. Acquired archaeometric data allowed identification of six ceramic fabrics and two types of clay substrate-illite- and muscovite-based-which were used in pottery production.

While we confirm these scaling laws, we also show that such constant-density flocks are metastable to the nucleation of a specific defect configuration, and are replaced by a globally disordered phase consisting of asters surrounded by shock lines that constantly evolves and remodels itself. We demonstrate that the main source of disorder lies along shock lines, rendering this active foam fundamentally different from the corresponding equilibrium system.

As a consequence, digital teaching further reduced direct social interaction for students. One year after the introduction of digital teaching formats at our university medical center (department of psychiatry and psychotherapy), teaching evaluation of students from summer semesters 2020 and 2021 (SS20, SS21) were compared.

In the context of the global coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic, we describe a case series of patients who developed IgAV following SARS-CoV-2 infection.
Methods: This national multicenter retrospective study included patients with IgAV following SARS-CoV-2 infection from January 1, 2020, to January 1, 2022.
This study aimed to characterize the relationship between cannabis use, ACE score, and pregnancy outcomes. Pregnant patients in Baltimore, MD, completed the 17-point ACE checklist. Charts of the birth parent and neonate were reviewed for urine toxicology testing at initiation of care and delivery, prenatal care metrics, and birth statistics.
