There are several contributing factors, one of which is variability in the reported performance of these sensors in harsh and fatigue prone environments. However, few studies have articulated their process of involving and engaging peers, particularly within large-scale cohort studies of women living with HIV where gender, cultural and linguistic diversity, HIV stigma, substance use experience, and power inequities must be navigated.
Methods: Through our work on the Canadian HIV Women's Sexual and Reproductive Health Cohort Study (CHIWOS), Canada's largest community-collaborative longitudinal cohort of women living with HIV (n = 1422), we developed a comprehensive, regionally tailored approach for hiring, training, and supporting women living with HIV as Peer Research Associates (PRAs).

Chordoid glioma of the third ventricle (CGTV) is a rare, slow-growing, World Health Organization Grade II glial tumor, with stereotyped localization in the anterior third ventricle. Despite being considered a noninvasive tumor, CGTV is usually associated with a poor clinical outcome due to its close proximity to important cerebral structures, such as the hypothalamus and visual pathways. Our patient with CGTV experienced visual involvement, but after subtotal surgical resection showed no evidence of progression at 5-year follow-up.

In the last two decades, great strides were made in our ability to extend the life span of model organisms through dietary and other manipulations. Survival curves provide evidence of altered aging processes but are uninformative on what lead to that increase in life span. We show that such pulses induce a smooth negative refractive index change allowing for the inscription of a depressed cladding waveguide by closely overlapping the corresponding type I modification traces.
