Chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy (CIDP) is an acquired, autoimmune peripheral neuropathy, rarely reported as being associated with systemic lupus erythematous (SLE). We report the case of 53-year-old women with a long history of SLE, diagnosed with CIDP during a lupus flare beginning with progressive muscle weakness of lower and upper limbs, without affection of the central nervous system. She received treatment with steroids, intravenous immunoglobulins and anifrolumab and showed clinical and immunological improvement.

Case Presentation: A 63-year-old white woman presented with right hip pain, lasting over 10 years. Pelvic radiography showed right hip osteoarthritis and ipsilateral periacetabular opacities.
This case series aims to characterize the development of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) induced by anti-tumor necrosis factor α (anti-TNFα) therapy in patients with inflammatory rheumatic diseases, namely rheumatoid arthritis (RA), spondylarthritis (SpA), and psoriatic arthritis (PsA). Patients with a diagnosis of SLE induced by anti-TNFα therapy and registered on the Rheumatic Diseases Portuguese Register (Reuma.pt) who started their first anti-TNFα between 2001 and 2020 were included.

However, some patients failed to respond or have an insufficient response to bDMARD early in the course of the treatment.
Objectives: To determine the percentage of RA patients who need to switch due to ineffectiveness in the first year of treatment and to identify specific baseline features as possible predictors of switch due to ineffectiveness in the first year of treatment.
Introduction: Systemic sclerosis (SSc) is characterized by progressive fibrosis of the skin and internal organs, microvascular damage and cellular and humoral immunity abnormalities. Microvascular damage can be easily detected through nailfold videocapillaroscopy (NVC).
Materials And Methods: A retrospective study of patients with SSc and a NVC performed within the first 6 months after diagnosis was conducted.
The chemical composition of spilt oils from events that took place on the north-eastern coast of Brazil in 2019 and 2022 was investigated to better understand their sources, and post-spill processes. Oils from both events originated from different sources, based on their fingerprints, hydrocarbons composition and specific biomarkers, such as the C23 tricyclic terpane and oleanane. Despite the differences, the source rocks share similarities in paleoenvironments and depositional conditions and both oils suffered little weathering, mainly due to evaporation and dissolution.

Thus, the objective of this work is to verify how the use of soil in the surroundings of Chilean lettuce horticultural systems, in the Coquimbo Region, alters the entomological community of the crop. Insect sampling was conducted (February 2021 to March 2022) using yellow pan traps.

Methods: This cross-sectional clinical field study recruited adult patients with RA during rheumatology appointments of a Portuguese rheumatology center. Patients completed the Portuguese version of CQRA-PREM, composed of 7 domains and 24 questions.
Purpose: This research aims to investigate the role of transformational leadership and organizational culture - encompassing Clan, Adhocracy, Hierarchical and Market Cultures - in the context of work-life balance for healthcare workers. It aims to present a comparison of observations made pre and mid-pandemic.
Design/methodology/approach: A structured questionnaire was utilized to collect data from a varied sample of 355 employees (258 before and 97 during the pandemic) representing multiple sectors and positions within a hospital.
Objective: We aim to study association between neutrophile to lymphocyte (NLR) and platelet to lymphocyte (PLR) ratios and disease activity, and their value to predict bDMARD response. Methods: A set of spondylarthritis (SpA) patients under bDMARD registered in the Reuma.pt registry was studied.

Patients And Methods: Patients with axSpA or PsA from 16 European registries, who initiated secukinumab in routine care were included. PRO remission rates were defined as pain, fatigue, Patient Global Assessment (PGA) ≤2 (Numeric Rating Scale (NRS) 0-10) and Health Assessment Questionnaire (HAQ) ≤0.
Introduction: Interstitial lung disease (ILD) contributes significantly to morbidity and mortality in connective tissue disease (CTD). Early detection and accurate diagnosis are essential for informing treatment decisions and prognosis in this setting. Clear guidance on CTD-ILD screening, however, is lacking.
