Clinical Presentation And Intervention: A 76-year-old female patient had been diagnosed with asthma during previous admissions to different hospitals. She had also undergone fiberoptic bronchoscopy (FOB) on 2 occasions for evaluation of right middle lobe atelectasis observed on computed tomography.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the prevalence of obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) in patients with hemoptysis.
Methods: Files of patients who had undergone bronchial arterial embolization due to hemoptysis between 1 December 2009 and 2015 were evaluated and interviews of patients were conducted until 1 June 2016. Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI), STOP and STOP-BANG surveys were administered.
