[The family demographic policy in the context of population reproduction: the country-specific review].

The purpose of the study is to systematize theoretical models of demographic family policy approved in publications included into database SCOPUS in 2019-2020 and developed using empirical data obtained by analysis of methods and practices of increasing natality in certain countries of EU, BRICS and the New World. The France, Sweden, Great Britain, Norway and Denmark are oriented to expand measures of social support of citizen and regulation of occupation of women with children with purpose to increase natality. In the countries of South-Western Asia and North Africa the measures are targeted to decreasing level of natality and to implement family planning policy.

[Effect of complex therapy including ATP-long on left ventricular diastolic function in patients with ischemic heart disease at rest and under isometric load].

[Enterosorption in the treatment of ulcerative colitis patients].

Enterodes and splenin were used in the treatment of patients with ulcerative colitis (idiopathic proctocolitis) in association with routine drug treatment while steroids were not employed. Results indicate increase of the therapeutic effect due to improvement of regeneration of the intestine and improvement of the immunity status.

[The use of pH measurement in the diagnosis of gastroesophageal reflux].

pH-metry carried out in 210 patients with gastroduodenal diseases has diagnosed reflux as the underlying condition in 48 and as a concomitant disease in 75 cases. The degrees of gastroesophageal reflux severity were distinguished; this helped plan differentiated therapeutic schemes for these patients. [Quantitative determination of blood loss from the gastrointestinal tract using Metol in chronic diseases of the digestive organs].

The authors have developed a method for measuring the blood loss with feces using an available and inexpensive reagent--methyl-4-aminophenol sulphate (Metol). The diagnostic value of the method in ulcerative and hemorrhagic lesions of the alimentary tract is demonstrated, as well as its advantages over other techniques. The method helps choose a differentiated course of treatment with due regard for the hemorrhage severity.

[Therapy of hepatitis B virus carriers].

Examination of 200 gastroenterological patients with a suspected chronic diffuse liver disease has demonstrated that only in 18.9% of the patients with chronic hepatitis, the disease was induced by the virus.
