Quality by design (QbD) approach thrives to achieve an assured and predicted quality product. A stability-indicating reversed phase ultrafast liquid chromatographic method was developed using the principles of QbD to quantify telaprevir (TEL) in pharmaceutical dosage form. A Box-Behnken experimental design was employed for identifying optimum chromatographic conditions by assessing the method robustness by selecting organic phase composition (%), mobile phase flow rate (mL/min) and pH of the borate buffer as the factors, to study their effect on the responses like retention time, theoretical plate count and tailing factor.
