This pilot study evaluates the presence of potential unrecognized steatotic liver disease with moderate alcohol consumption (MetALD) in patients diagnosed with metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD) using the ALD/NAFLD index (ANI) score. A retrospective single-center study was conducted on 85 patients attending Digestive Diseases consultations in May and June 2024. MASLD was defined by hepatic steatosis with limited alcohol intake (<20 g/day for women and <30 g/day for men) and at least one cardiovascular risk factor.

Patients And Methods: The work consists in a descriptive study of the role of cocaine in patients with acute stroke under the age of 50 years admitted to the neurology service over a period of four years. Eighteen patients with positive levels of cocaine on admission and 79 patients with negative levels were analysed.
Alcohol dependence is a chronic disease whose treatment begins with detoxification, followed by rehabilitation. We present a descriptive and retrospective study of 147 patients admitted to our unit during the period 2003-2005. Median age was 46.
