Objectives: To compare the conspicuity of lobular breast cancers at digital breast tomosynthesis (DBT) versus synthesized 2D mammography (synt2D).
Materials And Methods: Seventy-six women (mean age 61.2 years, range 50-74 years) submitted to biopsy in our institution, from 2019 to 2021, with proven invasive lobular breast cancer (ILC) were enrolled in this retrospective study.
Low-grade adenosquamous carcinoma is a less frequent variant of metaplastic breast carcinoma, incidentally detected during screening and has an age distribution similar to other breast carcinomas. It shares characteristics with both benign and malignant carcinomas: its mammographic and sonographic features are therefore nonspecific. Breast conserving surgery with adjuvant radiation therapy is currently the preferred therapeutic approach.

Materials And Methods: In total, 170 patients, with proven breast cancer and eligible for breast-conserving surgery, were enrolled. Intraoperative specimens underwent digital mammography and digital breast tomosynthesis.
Objective: To assess the diagnostic accuracy of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) in prospectively differentiating between fibrotic and active inflammatory small bowel stenosis in patients with Crohn's disease (CD).
Materials And Methods: A total of 111 patients with histologically proven CD presenting with clinical and plain radiographic signs of small bowel obstruction underwent coronal and axial MRI scans after oral administration of polyethylene glycol solution. A stenosis was judged present if a small bowel segment had >80% lumen reduction as compared to an adjacent normal loop and mural thickening of >3 mm.
This cross-over, double blind, randomized, multicentre study evaluated the consistency of efficacy and safety of oral sumatriptan in 233 migraneurs. The patients received 50 mg oral sumatriptan or placebo for the treatment of 12 migraine attacks. Within each group of 4 attacks, three were treated with sumatriptan and one with placebo, according to a randomization list.

Benign biopsies should be regarded as negative events, due to their economical and psychological cost and their possible negative impact on cosmesis and on further diagnostic evaluation.
Methods: Retrospective data on benign/malignant breast biopsies ratio (B/M) were collected in 9 Italian centers for a period of 10-15 years.
The authors consider 88 cases of mastectomy and immediate breast reconstruction mainly performed using the skin expander plus prosthesis method or latissimus dorsi myocutaneous flaps. At the same time, 53 patients underwent contralateral mastopexy for symmetry. The mean follow-up was 21 months (range 2-102).
