Background: The ovarian response to gonadotropin stimulation varies widely among women, and could impact the probability of live birth as well as treatment risks. Many studies have evaluated the impact of different gonadotropin starting doses, mainly based on predictive variables like ovarian reserve tests (ORT) including anti-Müllerian hormone (AMH), antral follicle count (AFC), and basal follicle-stimulating hormone (bFSH). A Cochrane systematic review revealed that individualizing the gonadotropin starting dose does not affect efficacy in terms of ongoing pregnancy/live birth rates, but may reduce treatment risks such as the development of ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS).

Methods: This is a analysis of a randomized clinical trial (RCT), which included pregnancies, in middle-gestation, screened with transvaginal ultrasound. After observing inclusion criteria, the patient was invited to compare pessary plus progesterone (PP) versus progesterone only (P) (1:1).
Objectives: Blood pressure control in severe hypertension of pregnancy is crucial for mother and neonate. In absence of evidence, guidelines recommend either intravenous labetalol or nicardipine. We compared the effectiveness and safety of these two drugs in women with severe hypertension in pregnancy.

We specialized in comparing the effectiveness and safety of dinoprostone vs transcervical Foley catheter for IOL in term pregnant women with an unfavorable cervix with adequate samples.
Objective: To compare the effectiveness and safety of dinoprostone vs transcervical Foley catheter for IOL in term pregnant women with an unfavorable cervix.
Introduction: Obesity is an increasing public health concern worldwide and can lead to more complications in pregnancy and childbirth. Women with obesity more often require induction of labor for various indications. The aim of this study is to assess which method of induction of labor is safest and most effective in women with obesity.

Preterm PROM (PPROM) (ie <37 weeks gestation) precedes one-third of preterm births, exposing the fetus to increased morbidity from placental abruption, respiratory distress syndrome and sepsis.
Aim: To analyse trends in the incidence and mode of birth in preterm and term PROM in Victoria, Australia between 2009 and 2017.

Aim: To investigate the association between continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) metrics and perinatal outcomes in insulin-treated diabetes mellitus in pregnancy.
Materials And Methods: In a post-hoc analysis of the GlucoMOMS randomized controlled trial, we investigated the association between the metrics of an offline, intermittent CGM, glycated haemoglobin (HbA1c) and perinatal outcomes per trimester in different types of diabetes (type 1, 2 or insulin-treated gestational diabetes mellitus [GDM]). Data were analysed using multivariable binary logistic regression.
Objective: To describe a reference curve for cervical length (CL) in mid-trimester twin gestations using transvaginal ultrasound (TVU) and to investigate whether short CL increases spontaneous preterm birth (sPTB) in asymptomatic twin pregnancies.
Methods: This was a prospective cohort study performed at 17 outpatient antenatal facilities of Brazil with women at 18 0/7 to 22 6/7 weeks of gestation who participated in a randomized clinical trial screening phase (P5 trial) between July 2015 and March 2019. TVU was performed to provide CL measurement in all screened women.
Background: Short cervical length measured during the second trimester of pregnancy is an important risk factor for spontaneous preterm birth (sPTB). The aim of this study is to identify the association between mid-pregnancy cervical length (CL) and gestational age at birth in asymptomatic singleton pregnant women.
Methods: This is a prospective cohort study involving singleton pregnant women who participated in the screening phase of a Brazilian multicenter randomized controlled trial (P5 trial) between July 2015 and March 2019.

Objective: To evaluate the safety aspects of different induction methods in pregnancies with small-for-gestational-age neonates.
Study Design: This was a secondary analysis of two previously reported multicenter, randomized controlled trials conducted in the Netherlands. In the original trials, women were randomized to either a 30 cc Foley catheter, vaginal prostaglandin E2 (PROBAAT-1) or oral misoprostol (PROBAAT-2).
Background: Maternal obesity during pregnancy is associated with poorer cardiovascular health (CVH) in children. A strategy to improve CVH in children could be to address preconception maternal obesity by means of a lifestyle intervention. We determined if a preconception lifestyle intervention in women with obesity improved offspring's CVH, assessed by magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).

Alternative treatments for heavy menstrual bleeding (HMB) are effective in up to 80% of cases, but there is substantial variation in surgical approach and pre-operative management of HMB. This study aims to assess the approach to hysterectomies for benign indications including alternative treatments and route of operation.

Objectives: Gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) affects about 15% of pregnancies in Australia, with approximately 30% of those diagnosed with GDM requiring insulin therapy. There are several established risk factors for developing GDM, however limited studies show how these can be used to predict need for insulin treatment. The aim of this study is to identify predictors of insulin therapy in women diagnosed with GDM once an oral glucose tolerance test (OGTT) is performed during pregnancy.

We investigated whether an effective preconception lifestyle intervention in obese women affected cardiometabolic health of their offspring. We randomly allocated 577 infertile women with obesity to a 6-month lifestyle intervention, or to prompt infertility management.

Summary Answer: One cycle of IVM, without any stimulation, was inferior to one cycle of standard IVF in women with PCOS in terms of 6-month cumulative live birth rates, when choosing single vitrified-warmed blastocyst transfer.
What Is Known Already: IVM is an emerging alternative treatment for women with PCOS who need assisted reproductive technology. Since a minimal or even zero dose of gonadotropins are required in the IVM procedure, the occurrence of ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS) is eliminated.

Objective: Perinatal mortality after previable prelabor rupture of membranes (previable PROM) might be underestimated as most studies exclude patients with poor prognosis, or solely include patients in tertiary-care centers. We aimed to report perinatal, neonatal and long-term outcomes in a consecutive series of women with pregnancies complicated by previable PROM.
Study Design: We conducted a prospective cohort study including women with singleton pregnancies and previable PROM ≤ 23 weeks gestational age (GA) from one tertiary hospital and eight affiliated secondary hospitals in the region of Amsterdam, the Netherlands (June 2012 until January 2016, PPROMEXIL-III cohort).
