The study considered the response of Artur Nick, a modern wheat cultivar commonly used in the area, to three O exposure levels (ambient and elevated ambient, +20 and +40 nL L O), and two N fertilization doses (100 and 200 kg ha). Measurements included leaf gas exchange, leaf chlorophyll content, leaf and grain N content, plant growth and yield parameters.

This report describes a patient with Vertical Maxillary Excess without open bite in whom surgical orthodontic treatment to reduce lower facial height remarkably improved function and facial esthetics. The patient was a 22-year-old male whose main concern was crowding and temporomandibular joint clicking sounds. The clinical and radiological findings led to the diagnosis of Vertical Maxillary Excess with a mild skeletal class II malocclusion.

While OSCEs are widespread in higher-income countries, their implementation in low-resource settings presents unique challenges that warrant further investigation.
Aim: This study aims to evaluate the perception of the health sciences students and their educators regarding deploying OSCEs within the School of Health Sciences and Techniques of Sousse (SHSTS) in Tunisia and their efficacity in healthcare education compared to traditional practical examination methods.
One of the most difficult tasks among the numerous medication delivery methods is ocular drug delivery. Despite having effective medications for treating ocular illness, we have not yet managed to develop an appropriate drug delivery strategy with the fewest side effects. Nanotechnology has the potential to significantly address the drawbacks of current ocular delivery systems, such as their insufficient therapeutic effectiveness and unfavourable side effects from invasive surgery or systemic exposure.

A major accomplishment in resolving these issues is the use of nanoparticles for environmental pollution remediation. This article describes a simple method for producing MgO and ZnO nanoparticles (NPs) using aqueous extracts of and roots as the stabilizing and reducing agents, respectively.

In this work, cross-linked adsorbent beads based on alginate and a geopolymer (prepared from an illito-kaolinitic clay) were developed for a promising decontamination of the 5-fluorouracil (5-FU) cytostatic drug from water samples. The characterization of the prepared geopolymer and its hybrid derivative was performed by scanning electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction, Fourier transform infrared and termogravimetric analysis.

Methods: This was a randomized controlled trial, conducted over a period of eight months at a monocentric site. Singleton pregnancies in nulliparous and parous patients with cephalic presentation and Bishop score ≥ 6 were enrolled in the study.
Circulating fatty acids (FA) have an endogenous or exogenous origin and are metabolized under the effect of many enzymes. They play crucial roles in many mechanisms: cell signaling, modulation of gene expression, etc., which leads to the hypothesis that their perturbation could be the cause of disease development.

Study Design: Three hundred eighty patients were randomly assigned to closure with polyglactin non coated suture VICRYL, or with polyglactin coated suture VICRYL Plus after caesarian section. The primary outcome was the rate of SSIs within 30 days after surgery and secondary outcomes were the rate of wound healing complications.
The present study was carried out in two seasons from two areas at different distances from the industrial zone of Gabes city which is classified as a Mediterranean host-spot pollution region. Pomegranate tree were highly exposed to various industrial air pollutants containing Zn and Cu. The relation between Zn, Cu, morphological, physiological and biochemical changes induced in pomegranate leaves was evaluated based to the measurement of leaf heavy metals, leaf changes, total phenolic content and quali-quantification of individual phenol profile by LC-ESI-MS.

The aim of the study was to evaluate the associations of both CCR5Δ32 genetic deletion and/or HCMV virus infection with CRC in Tunisia.
Materials And Methods: The association between HCMV and CRC was validated by Nested PCR technology performed for HCMV and HCMV-specific serum IgG and IgM antibodies were investigated by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay.
Background: HLA-G is a non-classical class I gene of the human Major Histocompatibility encoding molecules with immune-modulatory properties. Expression of HLA-G is being largely studied in pathological conditions, such as tumors, viral infections, inflammation, and autoimmune diseases, grafted tissues, among others. HLA-G +3142C/G (rs1063320: dbSNP database) polymorphism is located in 3' UTR of HAL-G and plays a key role in determining the magnitude of gene and protein expression.

On the one hand, we can simultaneously detect various voltages, providing, at the same time, both thermal and electrical properties (thermal conductivity, electrical conductivity and Seebeck coefficient). On the other hand, the AFM approach enables sufficient spatial resolution to produce images of nanostructures such as nanowires (NWs).
