Methods: A 3D-printed low-cost simulation model for OIU was designed locally and the final model was evaluated by trainees and trainers at the urology boot camps (UK, Belgium, Portugal, Poland). Participants were asked to complete a questionnaire, using a 6-item 5-point Likert Scale, to assess the model's anatomic realism.
Objective: To compare binary metrics and Global Evaluative Assessment of Robotic Skills (GEARS) evaluations of training outcome assessments for reliability, sensitivity, and specificity.
Background: GEARS-Likert-scale skills assessment are a widely accepted tool for robotic surgical training outcome evaluations. Proficiency-based progression (PBP) training is another methodology but uses binary performance metrics for evaluations.
Objective: To determine whether proficiency-based progression (PBP) training leads to better robotic surgical performance compared to traditional training (TT), given that the value of PBP training for learning robotic surgical skills is unclear.
Materials And Methods: The PROVESA trial is a multicentric, prospective, randomized and blinded clinical study comparing PBP training with TT for robotic suturing and knot-tying anastomosis skills. A total of 36 robotic surgery-naïve junior residents were recruited from 16 training sites and 12 residency training programmes.

Purpose: The prospective CARMENA trial surprisingly suggested that patients with upfront metastatic clear-cell renal cell carcinoma (m-ccRCC) would not benefit from cytoreductive nephrectomy (CN). We aimed to identify the m-ccRCC patient subpopulation who would benefit from the continued use of CN.
Methods: We performed a retrospective cohort study on upfront m-ccRCC patients and identified three subgroups: patients treated with vascular endothelial growth factor receptor tyrosine kinase inhibitors (VEGFR-TKIs) only without CN (TKI ONLY), patients undergoing CN immediately followed within 6 months by VEGFR-TKIs (CN > TKI) and patients undergoing CN followed by a considerable therapy-free interval of at least 6 months (CN > AS).
