The actual objective of this selection is the formation of a certain PPS-PVP-CT composition in which PVP macromolecules would coordinate with PPS molecules and at the same time practically block the complex binding of PPS molecules with chitosan macromolecules. Such blocking allows utilization of the bactericidal properties of chitosan to a greater extent, since chitosan is known to depress the PPS photosensitizing activity in PPS-PVP-CT complexes when using those in photodynamic therapy (PDT).

In a few hours after exposure, leading to a higher content of reactive oxygen species as compared with the equilibrium values, long-term changes including variations in redox potential and optical system parameters are recorded in water and diluted aqueous media. We propose a heuristic organization model of the water-gas system with an increased content of reactive oxygen species.

In water and diluted aqueous acetone and ANS solutions, long-term spontaneous variations in parameters of light scattering and fluorescence spectra have been detected. It has been found that the spectral parameters and the character of ANS influence changed drastically at acetone concentrations of approximately 0.

STM images of the films revealed globular structures with characteristic diameters (approximately 3.5 nm for the protein molecule and approximately 1.

The plot of the dependence of the reduction rate constant on the micelle hydratation is bell-shaped in the case of protein but shows the plateau form for the radical. The reaction rates decreases at high micelle concentrations.

Under these conditions the rate of carboxycytochrome c formation greatly increases in the course of the reduction process as compared to this rate after cytochrome c reduction and relaxation to the equilibrium state. According to these results the reduced intermediate which appears in the course of reduction has a high affinity for the carbon monoxide.
