Material And Methods: There were 45 patients with wound complications after cardiac surgery between October 2022 and September 2023. Thirty-eight (84.
Single-stage total aortic replacement represents a comprehensive approach for patients at high risk of aorta-related complications between procedures. It not only avoids staged surgical treatment but also facilitates quicker rehabilitation. Opting for a radical surgery in such cases can yield superior outcomes compared with a staged approach, making it particularly suitable for young patients with aorta-related risk factors.

Due to a small amount of data on the parasitic fauna of wild boars in the Russian Far East, especially in Prymorye territory, a post-mortem parasitic examination of 20 wild boars was provided. The general prevalence was 25%, and a total of six helminth species, including one larva stage, were found.

The study included 91 women that underwent non-medical fertility preservation. On day two to menstrual cycle, blood tests were drawn (basal Estradiol, basal FSH, basal LH, Progesterone) and ultrasound (US) was performed.

Aim: To evaluate the outcomes of isolated liver chemo perfusion in patients with hepatic metastases from uveal melanoma.
Materials And Methods: Cardiovascular surgeons are often involved in the treatment of oncological diseases. Isolated liver chemoperfusion requires the use a heart-lung machine.
Unlabelled: was to investigate the potential of direct mechanical testing methods in clinical practice to assess the strength and elastic-deformative characteristics of intraoperative samples of aortic arch aneurysm caused by uncontrolled arterial hypertension.
Materials And Methods: The study experimental material was the resected parts of the aortic aneurysm obtained during aneurysm replacement surgery in a patient with uncontrolled arterial hypertension. The direct mechanical testing methods such as instrumental indentation and uniaxial extension were used.
Objective: To evaluate the effectiveness of two cardioplegia techniques in patients with severe myocardial hypertrophy undergoing septal myectomy or aortic valve replacement.
Material And Methods: A comparative pilot prospective single-center randomized study included 46 patients between 2022 and 2023. Patients were randomized into 2 groups: Del Nido (=23) and Custodiol (=23).
Aim: Analysis of in-hospital and long-term results of carotid endarterectomy (CEE) in patients with different severity of coronary atherosclerosis.
Material And Methods: This comparative, retrospective, open study for the period from January 2013 to April 2020 included 1719 patients operated on for occlusive-stenotic lesions of the internal carotid arteries (ICA). Classical and eversion CEA were used as revascularization strategies.

Objective: To analyze the incidence and causes of mitral valve replacement in patients with obstructive hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM).
Material And Methods: There were 172 patients (98 women and 74 men) with obstructive HCM and severe mitral valve insufficiency between November 2017 and May 2023. All patients complained of chronic heart failure NYHA class III.
Aim: To evaluate the incidence of complications, including fatal outcomes, ischemic strokes, and transient ischemic attacks, associated with carotid endarterectomy (CEA) in patients categorized as low-, medium-, and high-risk based on their CarotidSCORE (carotidscore.ru).
Material And Methods: This prospective, multicenter study was conducted from January 1, 2022, to December 20, 2022, and enrolled 5,496 patients with stenosis of the internal carotid artery (ICA), who were categorized into four groups according to their risk level.
Aim To present the first experience of performing the Frozen Elephant Trunk (FET) surgery in patients with thoracic aorta disease using a new Russian hybrid stent graft "Soft Elephant Trunk".Material and methods Between 2014 and 2021, 170 patients with thoracic aortic disease underwent complete aortic arch replacement using the FET technique. In 70 of these cases (since June 2019), a hybrid graft "Soft Elephant Trunk" was used.

Objective: To analyse safety and expediency of cardiac surgical technologies including cardiopulmonary bypass (CPB) in patients with locally advanced lung cancer and invasive tumors of the mediastinum.
Material And Methods: Cardiac surgical techniques and CPB were used in 23 patients (group 1) with locally advanced thoracic tumors between 2005 and 2015. For the same period, there were 22 patients (group 2) who underwent combined surgeries and could have had similar techniques.
A 38-year-old man with history of Crawford extent I thoracoabdominal aneurysm and chronic type B aortic dissection underwent a hybrid repair using the frozen elephant trunk technique. The patient was followed up annually, and type II endoleak of the descending thoracic aorta was diagnosed, leading to negative aortic remodeling. The endoleak was managed by performing intercostal artery clipping using minimally invasive thoracoscopic technique under transesophageal echocardiography control.

Aim To determine the effect of minimally invasive interventions on the quality of life (QoL), pain syndrome, and cosmetic effect in patients with a pathology of chest aorta as compared with a group of traditional access.Material and methods From 2016 through 2020, 77 of 226 (34%) patients with an aneurysm in the proximal chest aorta and mini-sternotomy were prospectively selected starting from 2017. To evaluate differences between the effects of mini-sternotomy and the traditional access on QoL and pain syndrome a control group of patients with full sternotomy (n=77) was formed using pseudorandomization.
