[Efficacy and safety of the polypeptide drug Vesusten in the correction of neurogenic LUTS in Multiple Sclerosis. Results of the pilot study].

Objective: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of the drugs Solifenacin and Vesusten in relation to the treatment of neurogenic bladder overactivity in multiple sclerosis (MS).

Materials And Methods: A prospective, single-site, single-center, placebo-controlled, parallel-group, comparative clinical trial was conducted. The study included 41 MS patients of both sexes aged 18-50 years with urodynamically confirmed detrusor overactivity.

[Extravesical reimplantation of heavily-dilated ureters according to Bradi technique].

Introduction: Surgery of the ureterovesical anastomoses lesions in case of weakly-dilated ureters is well developed by the Cohen and Lich-Grgoire techniques. However, there are no generally accepted approaches for heavily-dilated ureters. The experience of creating ureterocystoneoanastomosis according to the Bradi technique (1975) for the first time in the literature is presented.

gen. et sp. nov., the world's most high-altitude hypogean trechine beetle from China (Coleoptera, Carabidae, Trechinae).

A new genus and new species of carabid beetle, , is described from mountains SW of Mianning City, Sichuan Province, China. This finding, from one side, extends the known distribution of Chinese hypogean trechines, and from another, it raises the upper limit of their vertical distribution to nearly 4000 m. Photographs of the habitus and major taxonomic characters, including the male genitalia, right mandible, and microsculpture patterns of the integument are supplied.

New Trechus species of the kozlovi group from Sichuan (Coleoptera: Carabidae).

The main goal of the present paper is to define the kozlovi-species group of the genus Trechus Clairville, 1806, one of the most species-rich groups of Chinese Trechus and to describe new species of this group from two neighboring areas in Sichuan Province. Description of species groups for Chinese Trechus is a way to get a more consistent view of the taxonomy of this extremely diverse genus. The kozlovi group includes many described species, which are widespread in Qinghai, Gansu and Sichuan provinces.

[Correction of incontinence during radical prostates-tomy].

Postoperative stress urinary incontinence has a significant effect on reducing the quality of life of patients undergoing radical prostatectomy. This review discusses the existing methods for correcting this condition, described in the world literature and which to one degree or another improve the quality of life of patients in this category. Analysis of present data shows that currently there are 4 main basic techniques during radical prostatectomy, which allow to statistically significantly improve of functional results.

New species of the tribe Trechini from China (Coleoptera: Carabidae).

[IMPACT OF THE TISSUES OEDEMA ON THE RESULT OF SURGICAL TREATMENT OF INFLAMMATION].

Significance of the tissues oedema and its elimination in the course of inflammation and the wound healing was investigated. There were analyzed the results of treatment of 68 patients, suffering inflammatory and necrotic affection of soft tissues, including 65 – a lower one, 3 – an upper. [The features of erectile dysfunction in type 2 diabetes and serum testosterone deficiency].

The current literature is lacking sufficient coverage of the relationship between erectile dysfunction (ED) and diabetes mellitus (DM), and age-related hypogonadism. At the same time, the mutual impact of cardiovascular and endocrine systems on men erectile function and the resulting damage of male sexual organs are being studied and debated. This prospective, randomized, simple comparative study examined the erectile function of 131 men with type 2 DM and age-related hypogonadism, tested the effects of DM on serum testosterone, formed an idea of possible relationship between DM, severity of ED and testosterone levels, degree of endothelial dysfunction and the involvement of the testicles.

[Periprostatic inflammation as a risk factor for the development of vesico-urethral stenosis after radical prostatectomy].

This article presents results of a study conducted to identify the causes of stenosis in the region of vesico-urethral anastomosis (VUA) after radical prostatectomy (RP). Tissue specimens from removed prostates were evaluated in 115 prostate cancer patients with a favorable postoperative period (group 1) and 5 patients who develop VUA stenosis between 6 months to1 year after RP. It was found that in the group 1 inflammatory infiltration did not basically affect tumor growth zones, was mild and did not spread beyond the prostate.
