[Complicated form of A/HINI (2009) influenza in pregnant women].

We undertook prospective and retrospective analysis of 120 cases of A/HINI (2009) influenza complicated by pneumonia in pregnant women with the purpose of comprehensive assessment of these conditions taking into account relevant risk factors and preventive measures. Control groups were comprised of 100 pregnant women with uncomplicated influenza and 100 ones who did not fall ill during flu pandemic. [Immunological and bacteriological monitoring of patients with pneumonia and influenza A/H1N1 infection].

Aim: To study features of immune status and causative agents of severe pneumonia in patients with influenza A/H1N1.

Materials And Methods: Fifty-seven isolates from 43 patients with pneumonia, which complicated pandemic influenza A/ H1N1 and treated in Chita city clinical hospital No.1 as well as 32 immunograms were retrospectively studied.

[Role of cytokines in the development of immunologic and homeostatic disorders in advanced dysplasia and carcinoma of the uterine cervix].

Immunological status, levels of pro-inflammatory cytokines of non-specific resistance and tumor expression factor have been studied in patients with cervical dysplasia or cancer versus stage. Slight and moderate dysplasia involved virtually no changes in interleukin-8 (Il-8) and tumor necrotic factor TNF-alpha concentrations whereas those of Il-1 alpha and Il-1 beta were 5 times as high. [Hormonal correction in combined therapy of temporomandibular joint dysfunction in women].

Pain dysfunction syndrome of the temporomandibular joint (TMJ) in women is often accompanied by mammary and reproductive disorders associated with endocrine disturbances. 30 female patients aged 19-35 years suffering from of the pain dysfunction syndrome TMJ combined with intact dentition and orthognathic occlusion were studied. Dental examination was followed by gynecologic examination.

[Steroidogenesis disorders in women with temporomandibular dysfunction].

The aim of the study was to trace hormone shifts in women suffering from different manifestation of the TMJ pain dysfunction syndrome. Levels of some blood steroid hormones (oestradiol, progesterone, testosterone, cortisol) were determined in 193 female patients aged 14-70. The object of study was blood serum collected in different menstrual phases.

[Anti-inflammatory cytokine in early diagnosis of endometritis after Cesarean section].

Antiinflammatory cytokines IL-1 alpha, IL-1 beta, IL-8, and TNF-alpha are measured and clinical course of the postoperative period is analyzed in 30 women after cesarean section. Postoperative endometritis can be predicted from an increase in the concentrations of IL-8 and TNF-alpha on days 2-3 after delivery. Early (preclinical) treatment of endometritis improves the treatment efficacy and decreases hospital stay of the patients.

[The effect of erythrocyte polypeptides on the erythron system in experimental anemia].

The paper reports the action of the polypeptide preparation made of red cells on erythron system in rat toxic anemia. These polypeptides proved more effective as to erythropoiesis stimulation in phenylhydrasine anemia than vitamin B12 or lek. Red cell polypeptides are considered possible regulators of erythropoiesis.
