Background This study aims to evaluate the clinical features, laboratory findings, and outcomes of children and adults diagnosed with meningitis in Jordan. Methodology This is a retrospective chart review study that targeted patients diagnosed with meningitis at King Abdullah University Hospital, a tertiary care center in Northern Jordan, from March 21, 2015, to March 31, 2019. Patients were included in this study if they were older than 28 days and had no risk factors for meningitis.

Background: There is still much to understand and discover regarding pediatric pancreatitis. The etiology, clinical presentation, and prognosis of pancreatitis differs considerably between young children and adults. The incidence of pancreatitis has been increasing; it is no longer as rare in children as previously thought and could cause significant morbidity and mortality when severe.

Aim: To assess the association between personality traits by the five-factor model and specialty choice preference among medical students and immediate medical graduates in Jordan and to identify if there were any significant differences in personality profiles between those planning to pursue different career pathways.

Methods: This is a cross-sectional study including fifth- and sixth-year medical students and post-graduate internship doctors at five universities in Jordan. An online survey was used to collect data from participants, which included their general characteristics, their personality profile using the Big Five Inventory-2, and questions about their most preferred specialty choice.
