Background: We aimed to examine the efficacy of intravenous vitamin C (IV-VC) in the treatment of hospitalized patients with moderate or severe COVID-19.
Method: We conducted a single-center and retrospective study including patients with COVID-19 diagnosis who were hospitalized. Patients were categorized into three groups as those who received low-dose (LDVC group, 2 g/day, n = 183) or high-dose IV-VC (HDVC group, 25 g/day, n = 41) and who did not receive IV-VC (control group, n = 46).

Background: This article is aimed to make predictions in terms of prognostic factors and compare prediction methods by using Cox proportional hazards regression analysis (CPH), some machine learning techniques and Accelerated Failure Time (AFT) model for post-treatment survival probabilities according to clinical presentations and pathological information of early-stage breast cancer patients.
Material And Methods: The study was carried out in three stages. In the first stage, the CPH method was applied.
Unlabelled: The main tools used by an orthopaedic surgeon for managing distal radial fracture treatment are recent literature and treatment guidelines. The aim of the present study was to find which factors within the study design influence study outcomes the most. Trials in three major databases (PubMed, Scopus, Embase) comparing surgical and non-surgical treatment options for adolescent and adult distal radial fractures with their original data, between 2013 and 2021, were included.

Purpose: To develop reproducible tibial-based methods to measure external rotation of the tibial tuberosity in patients with patellar instability.
Study Design: Cross-sectional study; Level of evidence, 3.
Background: Rotational malalignment is a common problem in pediatric supracondylar humerus fractures (SCHF). Several techniques have been described to evaluate the true rotation value. Although the Prabhakar and Gordon techniques are used frequently, their superiority to each other in terms of measurement quality is unknown.

Background: In this study, we aimed to describe our experience with primary pulmonary artery sarcoma in patients who underwent pulmonary endarterectomy and to evaluate clinical features, treatment, outcomes, and survival rates according to the histological subtypes of this malignant disease.
Methods: Between March 2011 and May 2022, a total of 13 patients (7 males, 6 females; mean age: 52.6±13.
As our tertiary-level trauma center is close to an industrial zone and associated international port, industrial injuries are seen more often than is expected in routine practice. The aim of this study was to present the demographic data, treatment options, and changes in work-life of patients with foot and ankle injuries due to a forklift accident, and to determine the factors affecting the clinical outcome. The study was conducted in our university hospital and included patients who presented with a foot and ankle injury resulting from a forklift accident.

Methods: Eighty-seven patients who received curative radiotherapy for localized prostate cancer between 2014 and 2019 were included in the study. Dosimetrically; whether there was a relationship between V30, V40, V50, V60, V65, V70, V75 for rectum and bladder; D90 for the penile bulb, V72, V74, V76 for the bulbomembranous urethra, V30, V45, V53, Dmax for the anus, and V45 (cc) for the intestine data and the side effects were analyzed.
In the Cox proportional hazards regression model, which is the most commonly used model in survival analysis, the effects of independent variables on survival may not be constant over time and proportionality cannot be achieved, especially when long-term follow-up is required. When this occurs, it would be better to use alternative methods that are more powerful for the evaluation of various effective independent variables, such as milestone survival analysis, restricted mean survival time analysis (RMST), area under the survival curve (AUSC) method, parametric accelerated failure time (AFT), machine learning, nomograms, and offset variable in logistic regression. The aim was to discuss the pros and cons of these methods, especially with respect to long-term follow-up survival studies.

The aim of this study was to review our clinical experience with pulmonary endarterectomy in patients with CTEPH secondary to IPV.
Methods: Data were collected prospectively for consecutive patients who underwent pulmonary endarterectomy and had a diagnosis of IPV at or after surgery.
