Background: This study aimed to compare the clinical efficacy of locking plate and intramedullary nail fixations in the treatment of patients with OTA/AO type 11C proximal humerus fractures.
Methods: We retrospectively analyzed the data of patients with OTA/AO type 11C1.1 and 11C3.
Objective: To compare the functional and alignment outcomes of intramedullary nail fixation using suprapatellar and infrapatellar approaches in treating distal tibial fractures.
Methods: In this retrospective study, 132 patients with distal tibial fractures (87 men, 45 women) ranging in age from 20 to 66 years were treated with intramedullary nails using the suprapatellar (69 patients) or infrapatellar (63 patients) approach. The radiographic alignment outcomes and ankle function were compared between the two groups.

Objective: To compare the effectiveness of posterior malleolus fractures treated by plate and screw internal fixation through posterolateral approach.
Methods: The clinical data of 95 patients with posterior malleolus fractures who were admitted between January 2016 and December 2019 and met the selection criteria were retrospectively analysed. They were divided into plate group (44 cases, treated with posterolateral plate internal fixation) and screw group (51 cases, treated with posterolateral screw internal fixation) according to different treatment methods.
Reduction of calcaneal fractures via a small incision approach at the sinus tarsi is technically difficult. This study was undertaken to determine if preoperative virtual simulation based on computed tomographic data improves reduction and reduces complications. Fifty-five patients with calcaneal fractures were treated via the sinus tarsi approach with minimally invasive plates between February 2013 and December 2015.

Objectives: The aim of this study was to evaluate clinical results of a new design titanium elastic nail (TEN) for displaced midshaft clavicular fractures.
Patients And Methods: Between February 2012 and December 2013, a total 36 patients with displaced midshaft clavicular fractures were treated with intramedullary nailing stabilization with our new design TEN. Blood loss, mean times of operation, postoperative complications, hospital stays and time to bone union was recorded.

Background: Intramedullary nailing is an effective approach for treatment of diaphyseal tibial fractures. However, infrapatellar intramedullary nailing can easily cause angulation and rotation displacement at the fracture ends and increase risk of postoperative infection. Intramedullary nailing via the suprapatellar approach was proved with good reduction and fixation.

Objective: To explore the clinical value of computer-assisted surgical planning in the treatment of ankle fractures.
Methods: Between January 2012 and January 2014, open reduction and internal fixation were performed on 42 patients with ankle fractures. There were 22 males and 20 females with an average age of 52 years (range, 19-72 years).
Leg-length inequality is an extensively studied complication of total hip arthroplasty in normal patients. However, few studies have focused on the pelvic obliquity of coronal pelvic malrotation. We hypothesized that pelvic obliquity with a fixed abduction/adduction contracture deformity of the hip may intraoperatively affect the release of soft tissues, ultimately resulting in a leg-length inequality.

Illumina mRNA sequence data (RNA‑Seq) corresponding to RA and control samples were downloaded from the Sequence Read Archive (SRA) database. Gene Ontology (GO) enrichment analysis was performed with the GOstat tool in order to identify over‑represented biological functions among DEGs, and the related Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) pathways were identified using the KEGG Automatic Annotation Server (KAAS).
