Background: The aim of this study was to compare the complete blood cell count parameters of patients with methamphetamine and synthetic cannabis use disorder (MCUD), a condition that has recently exhibited a gradual increase in prevalence, with those of healthy subjects.
Methods: In total, 76 patients diagnosed with MCUD and 78 healthy controls were included in the study. Venous blood samples were collected from all participants at presentation for laboratory examination.
Purpose: Our study examines the socio-demographic, forensic psychiatric, and childhood trauma exposure (CTE) data of Turkish intimate partner violence (IPV) perpetrators and draws comparisons with the violence data.
Methods: Data of male perpetrators referred to the domestic violence outpatient clinic by judicial authorities between November 2019 and June 2022 were retrospectively examined, with a focus on CTE data.
Results: The mean age of the male perpetrators examined in the study was 37.
Background: This study examines the association between the coefficient of variation (%CV) of lithium levels and episode risk and frequency in bipolar patients maintaining serum lithium levels within the therapeutic range.
Methods: We retrospectively reviewed patients with bipolar disorder under care from 2018 to 2022. Inclusion criteria were at least 2 years of follow-up, a minimum of three annual lithium level measurements within the therapeutic range.
Background: It has been reported that caffeine intake and smoking are more frequent in patients with schizophrenia than the general population. However, the cause of high caffeine and smoking and its correlation with positive and negative symptoms is unclear. Therefore, the aim of the present study is to evaluate the correlation between daily caffeine intake and smoking and the severity of positive and negative symptoms in patients with schizophrenia.

Study Objective: In this study we explored the level and severity of issues related to self-concept, depression, and anxiety in adolescents with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).
Design: Cross-sectional and case-control study.
Setting: The research was conducted in the outpatient Pediatric Endocrinology Clinic of Adiyaman University School of Medicine in Turkey.
Introduction: Based on the hypothesis that women who exposed to physical violence had lower education and income levels than those who did not, and those who got married earlier and had marriage with unwanted people had higher psychiatric disorders, the aims of this study were to determine risk factors for domestic violence and predictors of psychiatric impairment in women exposed to domestic violence.
Methods: We used random selection method and included 400 married women above 18 years of age living in Adiyaman province. Socio-demographic data and exposure to physical violence and sexual coercion for participants were evaluated by a structured questionnaire.

Methods: This study involved 43 euthymic bipolar I patients who were being followed by the Psychiatry Department of Adiyaman University Medical School and 43 healthy volunteers as controls. Optic coherence tomography (OCT) measurements were performed for both groups.
Objective: Our aim in this study was to compare the assessments of neuropsychological tests and the p50 neurophysiological test of patients with seizure diagnosed as conversion disorder and healthy control subjects, and to investigate the neurological status in conversion disorder with pseudoseizure.
Methods: A total of 22 female conversion disorder patients with convulsions diagnosed according to SCID-I/CV and 22 healthy women were included in the assessment. The participants were administered WMS-R, the cancellation test, and the Stroop test as neuropsychological tests and p50 was assessed as a neurophysiological test.
