In vitro fertilization (IVF) has the potential to give babies to millions more people globally, yet it continues to be underutilized. We established a globally applicable and locally adaptable IVF prognostics report and framework to support patient-provider counseling and enable validated, data-driven treatment decisions. This study investigates the IVF utilization rates associated with the usage of machine learning, center-specific (MLCS) prognostic reports (the Univfy report) in provider-patient pre-treatment and IVF counseling.

How can trial designs better serve the needs of children and young people with juvenile idiopathic arthritis?

In juvenile idiopathic arthritis we have seen remarkable progress in the number of available licensed biological and small molecule treatments in the past two decades, leading to improved outcomes for patients. Designing clinical trials for these therapeutics is fraught with ethical, legislative, and practical challenges. However, many aspects of current clinical trial design in juvenile idiopathic arthritis do not meet the needs of patients and clinicians.

Community awareness of childhood arthritis in the UK.

Objective: The aim was to measure the level of community awareness in the UK that children and young people can develop arthritis.

Methods: An online survey of a representative quota sample of 2044 adults aged 16-75 years in the UK was conducted between 10 and 13 February 2023 by Ipsos UK, a leading social and market research organization, with participants giving informed consent before taking part. Participants were asked which age band they thought is the earliest that someone can get arthritis.

Background: This paper presents insight into the scale of mental health concerns for families who have a child or young person with a diagnosis of Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (JIA) living in any of the four nations of the United Kingdom (UK). The study's objective is to share the current experiences of those that responded to a charity survey and consider future work to improve mental health support.

Methods: This work was initiated and led by five UK charity partner organisations working with families affected by JIA.

Objectives: Uncertainty regarding the risk of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), its complications and the safety of immunosuppressive therapies may drive anxiety among adults and parents of children and young people (CYP) with rheumatic diseases. This study explored trajectories of COVID-related anxiety in adults and parents of CYP with rheumatic diseases.

Methods: Adults and parents of CYP participating in the international COVID-19 European Patient Registry were included in the current study if they had enrolled in the 4 weeks following 24 March 2020.

Carer's perceptions of paediatric epilepsy services with and without epilepsy specialist nurses: A thematic analysis.

Purpose: To obtain in-depth perspectives from carers concerning their relationships with paediatric epilepsy services with and without an Epilepsy Specialist Nurse (ESN).

Methods: Semi-structured interviews with 58 carers, 37 from service areas with an ESN, and 21 from areas without an ESN in the North-West of England, were conducted and analysed using Thematic Analysis adopting a realist epistemological position.

Results: Four themes relating to different aspects of carers' needs were identified.

Objective: We investigated prolonged COVID-19 symptom duration, defined as lasting 28 days or longer, among people with systemic autoimmune rheumatic diseases (SARDs).

Methods: We analysed data from the COVID-19 Global Rheumatology Alliance Vaccine Survey (2 April 2021-15 October 2021) to identify people with SARDs reporting test-confirmed COVID-19. Participants reported COVID-19 severity and symptom duration, sociodemographics and clinical characteristics.

Methods: Survey questions were developed by key stakeholder groups and disseminated worldwide through social media, websites, and patient support organisations.
