[A case of malignant pericardial mesothelioma].

A case is described of malignant pericardial mesothelioma of epithelial type. The diagnosis was made on the basis of autopsy. The patient, a 46-year-old construction technician fell ill with symptoms of pericarditis.

In the years 1965-1987 in adult patients 4172 bronchoscopies were done and 26 of them (0.62%) were done in 13 patients with foreign bodies in the tracheobronchial tree. The age of the patients was from 16 to 66 years.

[2 cases of primary cancer of the trachea].

Two cases of tracheal+ carcinoma are reported. The first was squamous carcinoma in a male patient aged 51 years, the second case was poorly differentiated microcellular carcinoma in a man aged 48. In both cases cytostatic treatment was given by the method of Hansen and radiotherapy with a linear accelarator (9 MeV).
