This study aims to collect data on performance-based knee function using inertial measurement units (IMUs) worn by participants both preoperatively and postoperatively. Introduction: This study aimed to compare the effectiveness of two methods for non-invasive mechanical ventilation in patients with severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) - using a helmet interface with a flow meter and positive end-expiratory pressure valve versus a traditional mechanical ventilator.

Material And Methods: We conducted a single-center randomized clinical trial involving 100 adult SARS-CoV-2 patients in a specialized private hospital. To determine the current prevalence and type of fast-food outlets at medical-school-affiliated hospitals and compare them to previous findings to assess progress in improving the hospital food environment. We invited medical students at 192 medical and osteopathic schools to complete Sogolytics surveys reporting on fast-food restaurants that are affiliated with their main teaching hospital or medical centers. Of 192 medical and osteopathic schools, 255 individual completed surveys were received from 146 schools.

Objective: The objective of this study was to establish a zone of clinical equipoise for the Proximal FEmur Resection or Internal Fixation fOR Metastases (PERFORM) randomized controlled trial, which will compare resection and endoprosthetic reconstruction to internal fixation for skeletal metastases of the proximal femur.

Methods: A survey was developed, piloted, and distributed to self-declared interested stakeholders in the PERFORM trial. Objectives: to identify oncological-orthopedic studies published in Acta Ortopédica Brasileira over three decades; to classify them according to the type and level of evidence (LE); to observe the inter-rater agreement in the classification of studies; to analyze the studies retrospectively, according to levels of evidence; and to outline the evolution of the evidence in the study period.

Methods: Descriptive analyses were performed with absolute and relative frequencies of studies published between 1993 and 2022. Inter-rater agreement was analyzed by percentage of agreement and Kappa statistic (95%CI).
