Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (HCM) is a common inherited heart disease with poor risk prediction due to incomplete penetrance and a lack of clear genotype-phenotype correlations. Advanced imaging techniques have shown altered myocardial energetics already in preclinical gene variant carriers.
