Objective: To analyze nursing skills in military aeromedical transport of the Brazilian Air Force.

Method: Descriptive, qualitative research, carried out in three Brazilian Air Force hospitals in Rio de Janeiro, involving 64 military nurses. Discursive textual analysis identified competencies in healthcare, communication and decision-making.

Objective: Reflect on how the evolution of legislation related to blood and blood-based products has shaped the role of nurses in hemotherapy services.

Methods: A reflective study, carried out employing surveys in databases, about the evolution of the nurse's role in hemotherapy services.

Results: Several legislations, published since 1950, have encouraged blood donation and shaped the work of nurses in hemotherapy services, being the most relevant Law #10.

Objective: to describe the experience of military nursing in "Operation Return to Brazil" in an aeromedical evacuation.

Method: this is an experience report of the nursing staff in the Aeromedical Evacuation of potentially-contaminated Brazilians who were in Wuhan, China, after the outbreak of the new coronavirus.

Results: the report was constructed from nursing care performed in three stages: pre-flight, screening, and flight.

This study focuses on resident nurses from the Course of Specialization in Nursing Residence at UNIRIO. It aims at identifying the importance of the classes offered by the Course of Nursing Residence for a professional career by checking whether the Course has influenced towards the inclusion of the resident nurse into the job market; and identifying the areas of specialty chosen at the moment of the selection for the course by resident nurses that finished the five first groups. The study was carried out with resident nurses that were in the first five groups of the Course.
