Remote ischemic preconditioning in myocardial protection in hemodialysis patients.

Background: Remote ischemic preconditioning (RIPC) is a procedure that generates a brief period of ischemia followed by reperfusion. The role of RIPC in protecting myocardial ischemia during hemodialysis is not yet established.
