Introduction: Ectopic pancreas refers to the presence of pancreatic tissue in an unusual anatomical location that has neither anatomic nor vascular continuity with the pancreas. Adenocarcinoma of an ectopic pancreas is rare; only few cases have been described in the literature.
Presentation Of Case: We reported a 69-year-old man who was admitted to the emergency department with feculent vomiting lasting two days prior to presentation.
Metastatic prostate cancer remains a challenge for clinicians. Metastases involve mainly the bone compartment and can manifest as oligometastatic disease. In this setting, the role of metastasis-directed therapies (MDT) including surgery and/or stereotactic body radiotherapy is currently evaluated.

Over the past decade, new locoregional therapeutic approaches combining cytoreductive surgery with perioperative intraperitoneal chemotherapy (PIC) have evolved that have demonstrated improved survival.
Methods: A retrospective, multicenter cohort study was performed in French-speaking institutions to evaluate toxicity and principal prognostic factors after cytoreductive surgery and PIC (hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy [HIPEC] and/or early postoperative intraperitoneal chemotherapy [EPIC]) for PC from nongynecologic malignancies.
Background: Peritoneal carcinomatosis (PC) from gastric cancer has long been regarded a terminal disease with a short median survival. New locoregional therapeutic approaches combining cytoreductive surgery with perioperative intraperitoneal chemotherapy (PIC) have evolved and suggest improved survival.
Materials And Methods: A retrospective multicentric study was performed in French-speaking centers to evaluate the toxicity and the principal prognostic factors in order to identify the best indications.
PURPOSE Peritoneal carcinomatosis (PC) from colorectal cancer traditionally is considered a terminal condition. Approaches that combine cytoreductive surgery (CRS) and perioperative intraperitoneal chemotherapy (PIC) have been developed recently. The purpose of this study was to assess early and long-term survival in patients treated with that strategy.

Summary Background Data: The precise role of laparoscopy in resection of liver malignancies (hepatocellular carcinoma [HCC] and liver metastases) remains controversial despite an increasing number of publications reporting laparoscopic resection of benign liver tumors.
Methods: A retrospective study was performed in 11 surgical centers in Europe regarding their experience with laparoscopic resection of liver malignancies.
