Background: Flow diverting stents (FDS) have transformed the treatment of intracranial aneurysms; however, their metallic structure associated with their intra-luminal positioning hamper angiographic and clinical outcomes. Therefore, there is a need to develop FDS with optimized surfaces that reduce thrombogenicity while promoting the healing process and endothelialization.
Methods: P8RI, a peptide mimicking the CD31 protein, was previously developed and grafted onto Silk Vista (SV) FDS.
Introduction: Preoperative three-dimensional (3D) reconstruction using sectional imaging is increasingly used in challenging pediatric cases to aid in surgical planning. Many case series have described various teams' experiences, discussing feasibility and realism, while emphasizing the technological potential for children. Nonetheless, general knowledge on this topic remains limited compared to the broader research landscape.

Background: WEB Shape Modification (WSM) over time is frequent after aneurysm treatment. In this study, we explored the relationship between histopathological changes and angiographic evolution over time in experimental aneurysms in rabbits treated with the Woven EndoBridge (WEB) procedure.
Methods: Quantitative WSM was assessed using flat-panel computed tomography (FPCT) during follow-up by calculating height and width ratio (HR, WR), defined as the ratio between either measurement at an index time point and the measurement immediately after WEB implantation.
Introduction: Ectopic pancreas refers to the presence of pancreatic tissue in an unusual anatomical location that has neither anatomic nor vascular continuity with the pancreas. Adenocarcinoma of an ectopic pancreas is rare; only few cases have been described in the literature.
Presentation Of Case: We reported a 69-year-old man who was admitted to the emergency department with feculent vomiting lasting two days prior to presentation.
Background And Purpose: The prevalence of unruptured intracranial aneurysms in the general population is high and aneurysms are usually asymptomatic. Their diagnosis is often fortuitous on MRI and might be difficult and time consuming for the radiologist. The purpose of this study was to develop a deep learning neural network tool for automated segmentation of intracranial arteries and automated detection of intracranial aneurysms from 3D time-of-flight magnetic resonance angiography (TOF-MRA).

Methods: The study enrolled 669 patients. Using three-dimensional time-of-flight magnetic resonance angiography, 617 patients were classified into the following groups based on the anatomical variation in the ACoA complex: no ACoA complex anomaly; ACoA complex aneurysm; and vascular anomaly distant from the cerebral arterial circle.
Background And Purpose: A subset of aggressive meningioma is associated with higher morbidity and requires a different therapeutic management. This subset consists of World Health Organization (WHO) grade II and III meningioma, characterized particularly with microscopic brain invasion. Numerous studies tried to screen aggressive meningioma on pre-operative MRI.

Based on sectioned otoliths, scales appeared to be relevant only up to 5 years and whole otoliths up to 12 years. The maximum estimated age was 36 years, which constitutes to date the oldest age reported.

In order to control this level, a method has been elaborated to quantify CMC addition at the maximum limit authorized. It is based on the absorbance level of a coloured complex obtained by the addition of a solution of 2,7-dihydronaphthalene in concentrated sulfuric acid to a dry white wine that has been dialyzed; the proposed method has a quantification limit of 60 mg L-1 with a 40 mg L-1 uncertainty.

Design: In situ chromosomal identification on isolated cells, with combinations of centromeric (or locus-specific) probes and whole-chromosome painting probes for chromosomes 9, 13, 16, 18, 21, and X.
Setting: Montpellier University Hospital.
Objective: To present and evaluate the use of a new ultra-fast multicolor primed in situ (PRINS) procedure for karyotyping human oocytes and first polar bodies.
Design: In situ chromosomal identification on isolated cells, using combinations of specific primers for chromosomes 1, 7, 9, 16, and 18 and fluorescent nucleotides.
Setting: Sixteen unfertilized oocytes were obtained from women participating in an IVF program.
The incidence of chromosomal aneuploidy was analysed in 104 unfertilized human oocytes and 56 first polar bodies using a double-label fluorescence in-situ hybridization (FISH) procedure. Combinations of centromeric (or locus-specific) DNA probes and whole chromosome painting probes for chromosomes 9, 13, 16, 18, 21 and X were applied on oocyte preparations, in a sequential FISH protocol. This combined approach allowed a precise in-situ identification of both chromosomes and free chromatids, and consequently a reliable analysis of chromosomal segregation errors.

Aims: to study, versus placebo, the value of administering pancreatic extracts in elderly subjects suffering from denutrition.
Methods: 52 subjects over 70 years of age, living in the Toulouse region of France, were included in this study. Each subject was required to present with an impaired nutritional status of their food intake, anthropometric and laboratory markers.
