Effect of ozone versus naringin on testicular injury in experimentally induced ulcerative colitis in adult male albino rats.

Testicular dysfunction is caused by the continuous inflammation and oxidative stress that are present at the local site in ulcerative colitis (UC) spreading to the testes via systemic circulation. The influence of ozone and naringine on colitis-mediated testicular dysfunction was investigated in this study. Forty-eight adult male rats were divided into four groups: I control group, II dextran sodium sulfate (DSS) UC-induced group, III DSS+naringine, and IV DSS+ozone groups.
