Is there an association between arteriovenous fistulas and axillary artery aneurysms? A report of two cases.

Introduction: Axillary artery aneurysms are rare vascular conditions that can present with various clinical manifestations, including neurological deficits and vascular compromise. While the underlying pathophysiology remains complex and multifactorial, potential associations with trauma, arteriovenous fistula formation, and atherosclerosis have been reported.

Presentation Of Case: Two male patients, aged 33 and 38, with a history of kidney transplantation and previous arteriovenous fistula (AVF) presented with symptoms of upper limb ischemia and neurological compromise.

Isolated sublingual hematoma post internal carotid artery stenting for internal carotid artery stenosis in high-risk patients as uncommon and rare misadventure: A case report and review of literature.

Introduction And Importance: Isolated sublingual hematoma is a rare complication seen in trauma, severe uncontrolled hypertension, dental operations, bleeding diathesis, and the use of dual antiplatelet and anticoagulant agents. In advanced and neglected cases, a sublingual hematoma may interfere with the patient's airway, causing suffocation and fatal airway obstruction. Our objective was to present a case of iatrogenic isolated sublingual hematoma in a 70-year-old business man, heavy smoker with a history of hypertension.

Primary pulmonary rhabdomyosarcoma: a long-term survivor.

This is a clinical report of a young girl who presented with a large left lung mass, which was found to be alveolar rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare clinical entity. This was successfully treated with surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy. To our knowledge, this is the longest survivor with this disease.

Pulmonary carcinosarcoma.

Pulmonary carcinosarcoma is a rare malignancy, comprising less than 0.3% of all malignant neoplasms of the lung. Since the first report of this tumor by Kika in 1908, approximately 100 cases have been described in the literature.
