We studied immunohistochemical and morphometric characteristics of the spermatogenic epithelium in rats against the background of peroral administration of nanoparticles containing titanium dioxide. Substantial degenerative changes in the spermatogenic epithelium were revealed: thinning, disorganization of layers, and detachment of sperm cells from the basement membrane. Immunohistochemical analysis revealed reduced proliferative activity and differentiation potential of epithelial cells, which was confirmed by changes in the expression of Ki-67 and c-kit markers.

Such parameters were assessed as age, severity of IV, its duration, scrotal vessels UD data, vein diameter of the pampiniform plexus on the left, reflux at the height of the Valsalva test, uronic acids (UA), glycosaminoglycanes (GAG) and their fractions (hialuronic acid--HA, chondroitin sulphates--CS, heparansulphates--HS). UA and GAG fraction composition was studied with ion exchange chromatography.

In addition, the formation of complexes genomic thymus DNA-hyaluronic acid has been observed. A certain role in the mechanism of NA-polysaccharide interactions can be played by the links between purines and the carboxylic group of hexuronic acid residue, as well as between pyrimidines and the hydroxymethyl group of hexose residue.

Glycosaminoglycanes (GAG) anabolism was studied with the help of 14C1-glucose used as the synthesis precursor. It was demonstrated that GAG polysaccharide fragments synthesis began in the cell nucleus associated structures and finished in the microsomal cell fraction.

Increased level of acidic glycoproteins and decreased level glycosaminoglycans levels were found. Patients with syringomyelia had smaller glycosaminoglycans components of proteoglycans than normal subjects.

Sulfated glycosaminoglycanes synthesis intensity was decreased too. These pathochemical processes were more expressed in skin and liver than in brain.

Hereditary neuromuscular disorders (HNMD), with population incidence 1:3000, are characterized in most cases by progressive course and treatment resistance and patient's disabling. To study the involvement of the tissue-connecting structures in the pathogenesis, glycosaminoglycans and their fractions were determined in blood serum. The test group involved 40 patients with hereditary myotonia, myodystrophy, neuropathy and spinal muscular atrophy and control one consisted of 27 healthy age- and sex-matched subjects.

Lipid peroxidation processes and levels of oxidative metabolism enzymes succinate and lactate dehydrogenases, as well as morphometric parameters of cardiomyocytes were studied in rats after exposure to malathion. The efficacy of oxymethacil and atropin correction of postintoxication injuries to the myocardium was assessed. The new drug oxymethacil is recommended to be included in the treatment protocols during the first 48 h after grave poisoning with malathion.

It has been established that the maximums of diene conjugates and Schiff's bases accumulation in the rat organs poisoned with malathion and the intensity of hypothermic response on days 14 and 21 after intoxication coincided. The similar elevated lipid peroxidation was associated with esophageal hypothermia on day 14 after armin administration.
