[Tracheobronchial stenting in patients with non-resectable tumors complicated by airway stenosis].

Objective: To study the results and efficiency of tracheobronchial stenting in patients with unresectable tumors complicated by stenosis of central airways.

Material And Methods: We analyzed the results of tracheobronchial stenting in 23 patients with unresectable tumors complicated by stenosis of central airways between 2016 and 2021.

Results: Technical and clinical success rate was 100%.

Quantitative modelling of biological systems using Petri net technologies has experienced renaissance in the past couple of decades. The overwhelming majority of these models is deterministic though underlying biological systems are usually at the mesoscopic level and small, rather than large, and employ sparse molecular structure. Sparse biological systems are accompanied by randomness due to low molecular density, intrinsic random nature of phenomena and noise in an experiment.

The data of the researches describes the were to establish the species composition of pasture cenoses and the productivity potential of light-chestnut and meadow-chestnut soils under different climatic conditions and in different periods of the year in the Terek-Kuma lowland of the North-Western Precaspian. Two peaks of productivity of phytocoenosis have been observed: the first is - ephemeral synusia in the middle of May- early June; second - motley grass and saltworts in the second half of September. The data on receipt of photosynthetically active radiation (PAR) on the soil surface and the coefficient of its use over the years and periods of the year depending on the hydrothermal conditions and dynamics of harmful salts in the soil are given.

Target-based drug discovery for [Formula: see text]-globin disorders: drug target prediction using quantitative modeling with hybrid functional Petri nets.

Recent molecular studies provide important clues into treatment of [Formula: see text]-thalassemia, sickle-cell anaemia and other [Formula: see text]-globin disorders revealing that increased production of fetal hemoglobin, that is normally suppressed in adulthood, can ameliorate the severity of these diseases. In this paper, we present a novel approach for drug prediction for [Formula: see text]-globin disorders. Our approach is centered upon quantitative modeling of interactions in human fetal-to-adult hemoglobin switch network using hybrid functional Petri nets.

Validation of signalling pathways: Case study of the p16-mediated pathway.

p16 is recognized as a tumor suppressor gene due to the prevalence of its genetic inactivation in all types of human cancers. Additionally, p16 gene plays a critical role in controlling aging, regulating cellular senescence, detection and maintenance of DNA damage. The molecular mechanism behind these events involves p16-mediated signaling pathway (or p16- Rb pathway), the focus of our study.

[Structural mechanisms and mathematical modeling of the bone tissue damage caused by hyper-speed impact].

Method of computer modeling of behavior of cylindrical and lamellar bones under the hypervelocity impact is suggested. This method allows in the frame of mechanics of continuous medium to calculate the stress strain behavior and damage in bone tissues under the shock wave impact. The processes of shock correlation of steel fragments of different shape with diaphysis of cylindrical bones and flat bone of calvaria under the impact 500 m/s are studied.

[New data on morphogenesis of gunshot bone injuries].

Studies with the use of atomic-force and scanning electron microscopy yielded new data that extend our knowledge of the complicated process underlying bone tissue degeneration as a result of its interaction with a high-speed injurious projectile. These data open up good prospects for the study of gunshot wounds and provide novel opportunities for forensic medical examination and diagnostics including confirmation of gunshot origin of the injury, elucidation of the properties (in the first place, energetic characteristics) of the injurious projectile, and determination of the wound size.

[Proctectomy and sphincterolevatoroplasty in cancer of the inferioampular part of rectum with involvement of the anal canal].

Proctectomy with total mesorectumectomy, resection of the interior sphincter, deep parts of the external sphincter and bringing down were fulfilled according to an original authors' method in 7 patients aged from 38 to 78 years for cancer of the inferioampular part of the rectum with tumor located within the limits 8-35 mm from the anus (T3N1MO (n=1), T3NOM1 (n=1), T4N2M1 (n=1). Six months after operation conscious urge to defecation 1-2 times a day and containment of stools were noted and a year later it was possible to ignore urges during 15-30 min. In 5 patients T3NOM0--T3N1M0 relapse-free period for 3-5 years was noted.

[Test for the reaction of blood circulation to a shockogenic trauma during pre-hospital stage].

Was proposed a method of determination of type of reaction of blood circulation on pre-hospital stage by patients with shock-producing trauma on the base of signs of saturation of hemoglobin by oxygen and on the base of endurance of period of isolation, without using difficult apparatuses and devices. It permits to individualize contra-shock therapy at early stages of traumatic disease on pre-hospital period.
