Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is a popular imaging tool that is valuable for the early detection and monitoring of malignancies because it does not involve radiation and is noninvasive. Metal-based contrast agents (CAs) are commonly used in clinical settings despite concerns about the toxicity of free metals. Therefore, finding alternative nontoxic imaging probes is vital.

Gouty arthritis (GA) is caused by monosodium urate (MSU) crystals deposition. GA is difficult to cure because of its complex disease mechanism and the tendency to reoccur. GA patients require long-term uric acid-lowering and anti-inflammatory treatments.

The semiconductor industry has long been driven by advances in a nanofabrication technology known as lithography, and the fabrication of nanostructures on chips relies on an important coating, the photoresist layer. Photoresists are typically spin-coated to form a film and have a photolysis solubility transition and etch resistance that allow for rapid fabrication of nanostructures. As a result, photoresists have attracted great interest in both fundamental research and industrial applications.

To enhance the dye removal efficiency by natural enzyme, horseradish peroxidase (HRP) was immobilized onto amine-functionalized superparamagnetic iron oxide and used as a biocatalyst for the oxidative degradation of acid black-HC dye. The anchored enzyme was characterized by vibrating sample magnetometry, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, thermogravimetry, scanning electron microscopy, Brunauer-Emmett-Teller and Barrett-Joyner-Halenda methods, nitrogen adsorption-desorption measurements, Zeta potential, energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy, and transmission electron microscopy. The Michaelis constant values of free and immobilized HRP were determined to be 4.

FeO NPs are synthesized by the co-precipitation technique. Moreover, the pristine was coated by silica layer and then functionalized by 3-aminopropyltrimethoxysilane (APTS). The sample possessed saturation magnetization with value equals 37 emu/g which made them to easily separate using external magnet.
