: The Wilms' tumor gene 1 (WT1) plays a critical role in cell development and the regulation of essential genes involved in cell growth and metabolism. In the context of hematopoietic tumors, including acute myeloid leukemia (AML), WT1 has been identified as a potential marker for measurable residual disease (MRD) assessment. Relapse after allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (allo-SCT) remains a significant challenge in AML treatment, highlighting the importance of MRD monitoring for risk stratification and treatment decisions.

Introduction: Cyclosporine-A (CsA) and post transplantation cyclophosphamide (PTCy) are common agents used for graft versus host disease (GVHD) prophylaxis in Haploidentical hematopoietic cell transplantation (haplo-HCT). However, the impact of CsA cessation timing in the posttransplant setting on clinical outcomes is uncertain. We aimed to investigate the impact of a novel approach that integrated early CsA cessation with PTCy utilization.

During the last decades the application of therapeutic apheresis has expanded to a broad spectrum of hematological and non-hematological diseases due to various studies on the clinical efficacy of this procedure. In this context there are more than 30 centers performing therapeutic apheresis and registered in the apheresis database in Turkey.

In parallel, this study was designed to investigate the effects of pre-conditioning immunoglobulin (pre-conditioning-Ig) and pre-conditioning absolute lymphocyte count (pre-conditioning-ALC) levels on transplant outcomes.
Methods: This study was designed as a retrospective, observational and cross-sectional study.
The prognostic importance of the ABO blood group in non-Hodgkin lymphoma is largely unknown. We aim to investigate the prognostic significance of blood groups on the survival in diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) patients. 412 people (206 DLBCL patients and 206 healthy donors) were included.

Objective: The aim of the present study was to compare the effects of nivolumab bridge to allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (allo-SCT) on progression-free survival (PFS) and overall survival (OS) and toxicity profile.
Patients And Methods: The study population consisted of relapsed/refractory cases of HL, who were treated with nivolumab for disease control and subsequently underwent allo-SCT at our institution. The control group consisted of HL patients who relapsed or refractory after multiple lines of therapy and underwent allo-SCT without nivolumab before transplantation as bridging therapy.
Fanconi anemia (FA) is a disease that could be accompanied by multiple abnormalities, such as growth retardation, bone marrow abnormalities, and cancer susceptibility. Among the FA patients, head and neck squamous cell cancer (HNSCC) is the most observed solid cancer. The life expectancy of patients with FA has increased with recent medical advances.

Methods: The data of 193 acute leukemia patients who were performed Allo-SCT from matched-related donors were analyzed retrospectively.
Results: Thrombocyte engraftment duration was statistically shorter (12 days) in acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) patients who received TBI-based conditioning when compared to ALL patients who received non-TBI-based conditioning (14 days; p=0.
Certain genetic mutations could have a role in the etiology of acute myeloid leukemia (AML). Hereby, in this study, we primarily aimed to investigate the distribution of genetic mutations in AML patients. We also attempted to analyze the incidence of genetic mutations in AML patients from Turkey.

The prognosis is poor for relapsed or refractory (R/R) classical Hodgkin Lymphoma (cHL) patients. The brentuximab vedotin (Bv) and bendamustine (B) combination has been used as a preferable salvage regimen in R/R cHL patient trials. We retrospectively evaluated response rates, toxicities, and the survival in R/R cHL patients treated with the BvB combination.

Clinicians should clearly identify the characteristics and prognostic factors of elderly patients. We analyzed the outcome of elderly DLBCL patients, especially factors affecting survival in real-life clinical practice.

Our understanding of myeloma genetics has been very limited and its effect to stem cell mobilization is not widely investigated. We aimed to investigate the effect of genetic abnormalities on stem cell mobilization in myeloma.

The virus causes hypercytokinemia, capillary leak, pulmonary edema, acute respiratory distress syndrome, acute cardiac injury, and leads to death. Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) are ACE-2 negative cells; therefore, can escape from SARS-CoV-2.

However, no randomized study compared the clinical course of COVID-19 in patients with hematologic cancers to patients with solid cancers. Thus, in this study, we intend to reveal the outcome of COVID-19 in hematologic cancer patients and compare their outcomes with COVID-19 patients with solid cancers.

Objective: Although the clinical features and treatment results of Hodgkin lymphoma (HL) in young adults are well known, it is thought that the disease may have different characteristics in elderly patients with HL, which constitutes almost 25% of the group. In this study, our aim is to evaluate the clinicopathological features, treatment outcomes, and survival of elderly classical Hodgkin lymphoma (CHL) patients.
Patients And Methods: Patients aged 60 and over who were treated with a diagnosis of CHL were included in our retrospective cohort study.
Background/aim: SARS-CoV-2 enters the cell through the binding of the S glycoprotein on the surface of the virus to the angiotensin- converting enzyme 2 (ACE-2) in the host cells and also SARS-CoV S protein binding to ACE-2 was inhibited by anti-A antibodies. The aim of the study was to investigate the relationship between blood groups and the course of COVID-19 in Turkey.
Materials And Methods: Laboratory confirmed COVID-19 patients aged 18 and over (n = 39.
The introduction of rituximab to the CHOP protocol has demonstrated an improvement in PFS and OS in DLBCL patients with both early and advanced stages. Most studies in the pre-rituximab period indicated that bulky disease has an unfavorable impact on clinical outcomes of DLBCL. The effect of bulky mass on the outcome of DLBCL patients undergoing R-CHOP therapy remained uncertain.

In the literature, substantial differences have been reported regarding incidence and outcomes for the pediatric and adult groups with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (NHL). Diffuse large B cell lymphoma (DLBCL) is the most common NHL subtype, and its outcome in adolescents and young adults (AYA) has not been widely investigated. This study aims at reporting our experience on the outcome of DLBCL in the AYA group.

In this study, we aimed to share our experience with the patients who received GDP/R-GDP (rituximab-gemcitabine, dexamethasone and cisplatin) for stem cell mobilization.
Materials And Methods: Data of 69 relapsed and refractory Hodgkin lymphoma (HL) and Non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) patients who received GDP/R-GDP as salvage chemotherapy in our center between July 2014 and January 2020 were retrospectively evaluated.
