[The ultrastructural picture of cells of B lymphocyte hybridomas].

The ultrastructure of the cells of six B lymphocyte hybridomas producing monoclonal antibodies does not, in principle, differ from the mouse myeloma cells. Their cytoplasm contains mostly membrane bound polyribosomes, Golgi apparatus and numerous membrane structures. The dominant finding, however, was the presence of a great number of A particles which occur almost exclusively in the cisterns of the endoplasmatic reticulum.

Monoclonal antibodies against transferrin. Precipitating mixtures and lack of inter-species cross-reactivity.

Five stable hybridoma lines were prepared using the myeloma cell line P3-X63-Ag.653 and spleen cells of mice hyperimmunized by pig transferrin. All hybridomas grew well in mouse peritoneal cavity and produced antibodies of the IgG1 subclass.

Mutants of Emmonsia crescens--their pathogenicity and size of adiaspores in vivo.

The pathogenicity of seven morphological mutants of Emmonsia crescens was tested by means of intraperitoneal inoculation in mice. All mutants caused adiaspiromycosis. Adiaspores were isolated from granulomas after 2 months and their diameters were determined.
