Objective: This study aimed to describe and analyze the process of creating and implementing telemonitoring services for COVID-19 cases, focusing on strengths and weaknesses.
Methods: A single case study incorporating qualitative and quantitative data using descriptive and exploratory approach was performed from 24 March 2020 to 24 March 2021 in a Brazilian capital city. Data collection took place through interviews, document analysis, and direct observation.
Objective: To identify the prevalence of and factors associated with diabetes mellitus in rural traditional communities.
Methods: Cross-sectional study carried out in 115 rural communities distributed in 45 municipalities in the state of Goiás, including: 13 river communities, 51 quilombolas and 63 agrarian reform settlements. Probabilistic sampling was performed, and participants were selected at random.
It is about a descriptive and exploratory study with the objective of identifying Nursing Graduation Courses in Brazil that contemplate the group theme within the educational plan and its characteristics. From the data collected with Nursing Course professors in a form answered and sent back to the researchers, it has been possible to verify that teaching the group theme is little explored in the Schools, being few the common traces among the institutions regarding content, teaching hours and strategies. Due to the importance of this theme and the need of preparing the nurse for the collective work and the coordination of groups/teams, the authors recommend the insertion of this subject in the education of this professional.
