This report compares cellular localization of fesselin in chicken smooth, skeletal and cardiac muscle tissues using affinity purified polyclonal fesselin antibodies. Western blot analyses revealed large amounts of fesselin in gizzard smooth muscle with lower amounts in skeletal and cardiac muscle.
