Introduction: The uterine leiomyoma is a pelvic solid tumor more frequent in women. The Magnetic Resonance-Guided Focused Ultrasound (MRgFUS) is a technique aimed at diminishing hypermenorrhagia and dysmenorrhea in symptomatic women.
Objective: To show the effects subsequent to MRgFUS application on symptoms, quality of life, and myoma volume in symptomatic women.

Breast cancer (BC) presents significant molecular heterogeneity, complicating prognosis and treatment strategies. Although molecular testing enhances our understanding of BC, high costs can limit accessibility in certain health care settings. This retrospective cohort study evaluates the prognostic value of Magee equation 3 (ME3) and residual cancer burden (RCB) in patients with hormone receptor-positive, human epidermal growth factor receptor 2-negative BC treated at the Instituto do Câncer do Estado de São Paulo from January 2011 to January 2024.

A cross-sectional study included 33 post-pubertal JIA (21 without and 12 with Methotrexate (MTX) women and 28 age-matched healthy controls. Metabolomic analyses based on targeted electrospray ionization tandem mass spectrometry were used to identify possible biochemical pathway modifications in serum from JIA patients.

Objective: To identify knowledge and attitudes of deaf women in relation to contraceptive methods.
Method: The authors conducted a systematic review of the literature, PROSPERO registry (CRD42021277635), conducted from August 2021 to April 2024.
Ovarian cancer has the highest mortality rate of all gynecological cancers. Animal models using 7,12-dimethylbenz(a)anthracene (DMBA) have been developed to investigate the mechanisms of ovarian carcinogenesis. The present study is a systematic review of efforts to establish DMBA as a model for ovarian cancer induction in rat models.

Background: Ovarian cryopreservation is a promising technique despite being hindered by damage from freezing and thawing. Melatonin can mitigate this outcome.
Objective: This study aimed to evaluate the effect of melatonin on the follicular dynamics of ovarian tissue in a cryopreserved cell culture.

Background: Brazil faces notable Breast Cancer (BC) mortality despite lower incidence rates versus developed countries. Despite guidelines from medical societies, Brazilian public policy recommends biennial mammographic screening for women aged 50 to 69. This study investigates sociodemographic and clinical factors related to BC detection methods and clinical stage at diagnosis.

As it is a new modality of transplantation, there is still room for technical improvement. A factor that impacts graft survival in organ transplantation is the warm ischemia time.

The social isolation imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic interrupted in-person activities, which were immediately followed by adaptations to ensure, for example, the continuity of teaching. This generated emotional impacts on the academic community. Emotional states may trigger or emphasize conditions such as temporomandibular dysfunction (TMD), causing pain and limiting masticatory function.

Methods: This retrospective cohort study included women aged 18 years and older who underwent treatment between January 2007 and December 2020. Male patients, individuals diagnosed with invasive or microinvasive disease based on anatomopathological examination of surgical specimens, and those with a personal history of any other cancers were excluded.
Introduction And Hypothesis: Condition-specific sexual questionnaires are important patient-reported outcome measures. The aim of this study was to translate and validate the Pelvic Organ Prolapse/Incontinence Sexual Questionnaire-International Urogynecology Association Revised (PISQ-IR) into Brazilian Portuguese and to clinically validate it in a Brazilian Portuguese-speaking population.
Methods: Translation and validation of the PISQ-IR was performed according to the International Urogynecological Association-recommended process and guidelines.
Gender relations are a set of socially determined norms and rules that assign values, characteristics, and expectations to individuals based on their biological sex. These aspects also influence the clinician-patient relationship, since it has been for a long time based on cisheteronormativity. However, this attitude alienated the LGBTQIA+ community from health services.

Background: Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is a heterogenous endocrine condition and combined oral contraceptives (COCs) have been demonstrated to be the first-line treatment to women who do not intend to become pregnant. The combination of COCs and PCOS may or may not amplify the risks of cardiovascular events.
Objective: To investigate whether surrogates for obesity may be influenced by the use of COCs containing different formulations in women with PCOS.
Background: Melatonin is a hormone produced by the pineal gland and it has antioxidant properties.
Aim: This study aimed to evaluate the effects of melatonin on assisted reproductive technologies through a systematic review and a meta-analysis.
Materials And Methods: Search strategies were used in PubMed and in other databases covering the last 15 years.
Context: Vehicle driving depends on the integration of motor, visual, and cognitive skills to respond appropriately to different situations that occur in traffic.
Objectives: To analyze a model of performance predictor for braking time in the driving simulator, using a battery of tests divided by gender.
Methods: Selected were 100 male drivers with a mean age of 72.
Objective: To analyze differences in the menstrual pattern, age at menarche, and body mass index (BMI) in adolescents with Hypothalamic-Pituitary-Ovarian (HPO) axis immaturity and Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) through a systematic review and meta-analysis.
Methods: The PubMed, EMBASE, Web of Science, Virtual Health Library, Scopus databases were searched using combinations of descriptors. Study quality was assessed using the Newcastle-Ottawa Scale.
