A case of a patient with a true large unruptured posterior communicating artery (PCoA) aneurysm in a distal segment of PCoA, who was treated by interventional therapy via an ipsilateral occlusion of the internal carotid artery (ICA), is reported. Although the treatment went very well and the patient recovered very well, angiography 6 months after the operation showed that left PCoA had occluded and the aneurysm disappeared. The temporary recanalization of occluded ophthalmic segment of ICA can be a pathway for interventional therapy.

Inappropriate spatial distribution of canopy and roots limits further improvements to the grain yield of maize with increased planting density. We explored an integrated management practice called strip deep rotary with staggered planting (SRS) which includes comprehensive technology for both canopy layers and topsoil. Here, field experiments were conducted under two maize cropping systems (spring maize and summer maize) to evaluate the effect of SRS on the spatial distribution of the canopy and roots for maize under high planting density (90,000 plants ha) and to determine the physiological factors involved in yield formation.

A 45-year-old man suffered bifrontoparietal extradural hematoma resulting from head injury, which cause superior sagittal sinus detachment from its subperiosteal loggia.
